Wow!!! Spectacular Lakefront Cabin with Hot Tub and Kayaks!!

Total privacy, including no contact self check-in, at this immaculate, secluded lake front home. Enjoy nature at its finest at this waterfront cabin! Entertain all of your lakeside desires in the crystal clear waters of Lake Kerr in Salt Springs, FL! Bring your boats (put in at Moorhead Boat Ramp) and your floats and your fishing poles too or enjoy the 4 single kayaks provided for your use!

There's so much to do in and around the Ocala National Forest! A favorite is to boat (by paddle or motor) Salt Springs Run, which comes from Salt Springs. The spring flows 52 million gallons per day and is a constant 72 degrees year round. The water is beautifully clear and the bottom is white sand. If you don’t have a boat, you may rent one at Salt Springs Marina, or just swim the springs at Salt Springs Recreation Area, just 2 miles from the cabin!

You may also choose to never leave the cabin with beautiful Lake Kerr steps away from the cabin doors. Enjoy long afternoons and evenings on the expansive patio with fire pit overlooking the lake or indulge yourself in the Hot Springs Grande hot tub on the deck. Commune with nature in our outdoor shower. Inside you'll find hardwood floors and granite countertops along with all the comforts of home. Enjoy your favorite shows on the new 60" television and sleep well in the ultra comfortable bedrooms. The lakeside bedroom features a king bed and the second bedroom has 2 queen beds to maximize guest sleeping! The well equipped kitchen with the open lake views makes "kitchen duty" a pleasure.

Perfect Girls Getaway!

We had a great time at the lakefront cabin!! Kathy was super helpful whenever we had questions, the beds were comfortable and even with rainy days the majority of our stay being on the lake was still beautiful!

Great Relaxing Location

The cabin was very nice, and the location was excellent. The lake views were lovely, and everything was as expected! We anticipated not leaving the cabin for the 4 days, and that held true, except for the one day I went for a bike ride to Ft. McCoy and back. We brought meals and supplies, and all of the usual kitchen things were available for use. Other than the bike ride, it was a great opportunity to sit on the deck, watch the lake, hang in the jacuzzi, and sail the r/c sailboat I brought along. Great stay!

Great spot to decompress!

Loved our stay! My husband and I came here after planning our wedding and ending his school semester. Such a fantastic place to enjoy doing NOTHING but also so much! We hiked, kayaked, hot tubbed and enjoyed the fire pit at night over looking the water. So peaceful and we will definitely be back!

Great family getaway

We had a great weekend getaway at the cabin. We are a family of five with a newborn and we enjoyed the hot tub, playing in the lake and taking walks. We saw over a dozen deer but didn’t get to see bear or monkeys. We def would love to come back again!!

Great Cabin, Beautiful Scenery

The cabin was clean and modern. The property was picturesque: the cabin sits at the edge of the lake, surrounded by moss-draped oaks and palm trees. It made it a relaxing time in the hot tub. Having a nearby grocery store (with fresh meats) and restaurant were perfect for us. Kathy’s communication with us was always prompt through the duration of our stay.

The house was perfect. The view was amazing. We will definitely be back and recommend to others. We brought our kayaks and went out at least twice a day. Sunsets were absolutely gorgeous.

Beautiful and Restful

We loved our time at this sweet cabin on the lake. Sandhill Cranes came to visit, beautiful sunsets, very responsive owners and close access to lots of beautiful biking and paddling. I recommend if you are a foodie that you bring the groceries you want - there is not much in Salt Springs. Other than that, everything you need is there!

We had an AMAZING WEEKEND!!

Our weekend away will be one for the memory books! The cabin was Beautiful (just like the pictures on the add shows), very clean and welcoming! The yard was freshly mowed before we arrived as well! We slept like babies in the comfy beds, enjoyed the Sunrises every morning and being on the lake with our family. The Hot tub was an extra special bonus! There were deer grazing out back and beautiful Cranes flew by every morning as the sun began to reflect on the water. We will definitely come back to this little Gem in the woods! Wonderful Vacation! We were looking for a special place to take our boys, 9 and 14, on a break to connect with nature. This beautiful cabin has amazing sunset views that are different every night, abundant wildlife life that you can spot daily, and so many opportunities to connect with nature nearby with trails, springs, kayaking, and more. Kathy was a great host and we can't wait to go back to create new family memories in this beautiful spot.

Great location for spring hopping

Fishing out your backyard, several springs in the area to visit, gorgeous sunsets, great patio with a firepit, huge master bedroom, great cabin feel inside. If you book here please go and enjoy the beauty of silver glen springs,that was our favorite. Salt springs pizza was great. Little supermarket at marathon gas station came in handy as well as the dollar general.

Amazing Views

Tranquility

My husband and two adult daughters loved the peaceful beauty of this place. It had all the comforts of home but was better because we had a beautiful lake to kayak in and admire and a hot tub to soak in! It was a very clean and comfortable house too and had everything we needed.
