Spectacular Lakefront Cabin On Secluded Lake Kerr - 80 miles North of Orlando

Total privacy, including no contact self check-in, at this immaculate, secluded lake front home. Launch your boat (4 wheel drive required to launch!) from your private beach at this beautiful cabin directly on Big Lake Kerr. Entertain all of your lakeside desires in the crystal clear waters of Lake Kerr. Bring your boats and your floats and your fishing poles too or enjoy the 4 single kayaks provided for your use!

There's so much to do in and around the Ocala National Forest! A favorite is to boat (by paddle or motor) Salt Springs Run, which comes from Salt Springs. The spring flows 52 million gallons per day and is a constant 72 degrees year round. The water is beautifully clear and the bottom is white sand. If you don’t have a boat, you may rent one at Salt Springs Marina, or just swim the springs at Salt Springs Recreation Area, just 2 miles from the cabin!

You may also choose to never leave the cabin with beautiful Lake Kerr steps away from the cabin doors. Enjoy long afternoons and evenings on the expansive patio with fire pit overlooking the lake or indulge yourself in the Hot Springs Grande hot tub on the deck. Commune with nature in our outdoor shower. Inside you'll find hardwood floors and granite countertops along with all the comforts of home. Enjoy your favorite shows on the new 60" television and sleep well in the ultra comfortable bedrooms. The lakeside bedroom features a king bed and the second bedroom has 2 queen beds to maximize guest sleeping! The well equipped kitchen with the open lake views makes "kitchen duty" a pleasure.

We are ensuring the health and well being of each guest by following CDC guidelines to thoroughly disinfect and sanitize with an EPA Approved Disinfectant all hard surfaces, door knobs, remote controls, faucets, cabinet pulls and other areas in order to protect against COVID 19. In fact, all those measures were part of our regular cleaning long before this crisis! Rest assured, unlike a hotel or resort, this is our personal home and we take pride in our high standard of hygiene for ourselves and our guests.

Great spot to decompress!
Loved our stay! My husband and I came here after planning our wedding and ending his school semester. Such a fantastic place to enjoy doing NOTHING but also so much! We hiked, kayaked, hot tubbed and enjoyed the fire pit at night over looking the water. So peaceful and we will definitely be back!

Was such a nice private tucked away Gem in FL. Close to a lot of fun things. The home itself was comfortable and perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Everything worked well and the sunsets are absolutely unparalleled I couldn’t get over how every evening we got to enjoy a beautiful sunset glistening off the water as the sun sets directly from the back of the house and the back is all full glass doors so it’s quite magnificent. Kathy was extremely accommodating and helpful as well and would be happy to return again.

This property is a hidden gem when looking for homes on the lake. We will definitely be back. The only thing I will say is make sure you have a 4 wheel drive truck if you think of putting your boat in at the property. It’s very soft and you will need to back you boat in quite a ways to launch it. We ended up going to the public ramp that is about 15 minutes away from the house.

The property was very clean and well stocked for cooking. The little town very welcoming when we went out to eat. Stayed at property mostly everything to enjoy fishing, skiing and just hanging out enjoying the beautiful day😍 Nights are my favorite enjoying the hot tub and beautiful sunsets they were amazing. Property was remote, off the beaten path. Exactly what we were looking for. Towed boat from Missouri and launched right off the property. Large lake with homes but still extremely private. Hot tub was great. White sandy shoreline and bottom was really nice. House has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Even supplied firewood!!!!

I was blown away by how nice the place is how clean a well organized and locations super private you have your own entrance to the lake you have kayaks you have a barbecue, lots of parking spots looks way better than on the pictures. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away from this busy city life five minutes away are the Salt Springs natural spring water super nice here or you can barbecue there in the water super super clear little bit cold bud, I can't find it anywhere else on the suggestion is bring ur meat for the barbecue because there's no big supermarkets around the area only small little supermarkets like the dollar general and the gas station that has a Subway

Amazing spot on the lake!
Traveled with a group of 4 and we had a great time at the property. Excellent access to the lake which we used to kayak and take out our sailboat. Amenities were amazing and we had a fun time grilling, using the hot tub, and escaping the city for a bit. Also spent a day at the nearby Salt Springs which was very fun. The house was very clean and perfect for what we needed. Highly recommended!
