Relax and be inspired by the breathtaking 180° Puget Sound View! A beautiful, serene, island retreat that feels worlds away but only a few miles from the quaint town of Gig Harbor. Soak up views of the Olympics and all of Carr Inlet with delightful sunsets, while drinking a glass of wine at the outdoor fire pit, or while soaking in the hot tub watching eagles soar overhead. Decorated with stunning local Northwest images by renowned photographer and owner. This scenic, private, Mother In Law apartment is the lower level of a residential home with a separate entrance and private patio with fire-chat area, outdoor seating, BBQ grill and 4 person hot tub. The unit accommodates 2 people in their own bedroom or 4 total with additional, pull out sofa-bed with Queen tempurpedic mattress. Luxurious linens, a variety of pillows and blankets are all provided. This beautiful, private space with full bath and kitchen are appointed with stainless steel appliances, washer/dryer, kitchenware, dish and laundry soap, coffee and tea, toilet paper and paper towels and all linens.
The unit is the lower level of a home and has a private entrance. Access to the unit is down 8 steps with a railing or walk around down a gentle slope.

This property is beautiful. We had such a relaxing, tranquil and refreshing time. Watching the sunset from the hot tub was so wonderful. We saw so much beauty in the area, so many sweet animals...deer and fawns, bald eagles, hummingbirds. We hope to return someday and highly recommend this sweet elegant retreat.

PNW Paradise!

We came in town to photograph a wedding and couldn’t believe how incredible this place was! The view from the hot tub of fireworks on 4th of July was beyond amazing. The space is beautifully appointed and the bird watching was a real treat. Did I mention the sunsets?!?! The best in the west!!

A hidden gem with breathtaking views!

This place is magical! Super comfy bed (we’re picky!), spotless and 5-star all the way. Mornings and sunsets in the hot tub with epic views and birds overhead—pure bliss. Huge shoutout to Jenelle for all the thoughtful touches—robes, slippers, even binoculars. Already dreaming of going back.

Excellent, quiet stay with a beautiful view!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay on the Puget Sound. This was the perfect place to stay. It was private, clean, and quiet. We used the washer/dryer which was handy. And we walked the short trail for even better views! Would definitely return!

Cozy getaway

A perfect place to stay that feels private

Amazing views from anywhere on the property. Staying here felt so much more peaceful then it would have if we stayed in a hotel. My partner and I made s’mores over the fire pit and that paired with the jacuzzi made for a wonderful weekend celebrating our anniversary. Will definitely be staying again.

Hosts were very pleasant and helpful, their cat was an angel as well. Incredible view of Puget Sound, nice quiet island retreat, Gig Harbor just a short drive away. Would definitely recommend to couples looking for a relaxing place to stay and would definitely come back if the opportunity arose!

Honeymoon stay at Best View of Puget Sound

We stayed here for our honeymoon in June. Jennelle and Chris are wonderful hosts. Super friendly and helpful to answer any questions we had. The property and amenities were absolutely perfect for our stay. The location and breathtaking views of Puget Sound are exceptional. Peaceful and Quiet Delight

Our accommodations were wonderful, better than the pictures and descriptions. We had a great time and our host was wonderful. I had a couple items I left behind sent to me even before I returned to my home. I am hoping to stay at this peaceful retreat again.

Lovely stay

My boyfriend and I visited for the weekend to celebrate my birthday and had a wonderful time! We loved sitting on the lawn and watching the sunsets. The host was great. The property was very clean and had everything we needed. Absolutely no complaints! We would definitely come again! As a side note we loved your cat, Audrey! What a treat to interact with her :-)

Perfect place for a city getaway!

The place does not disappoint. Fox island was the perfect escape from the city for a birthday weekend celebration. The view is absolutely splendid. Despite not having ideal weather for the weekend (March in the PNW…), we still saw a gorgeous sunset, watches eagles right out our window, and soaked up some relaxation in the hot tub. The property itself is very well done. It had all the necessary amenities as well as many extras. We would definitely recommend!

"Snow, Silence, and the Kind of Peace You Don’t Want to Leave
