“The house is on a busy street. You must drive to get anywhere including somewhere to walk your dog. The house is lovely and well maintained. There is a rusty pipe under the corner of the dock that one of us cut themselves on while swimming in the lake and the steps leading into the lake are very slippery ”

“We had a delightful two-week stay here. The living area is cozy — perhaps even a bit small for more than two or three people—but very comfortable. Kitchen is roomy and well equipped. And morning coffee or evening wine on the large deck can’t be beat. The property manager, Sally, and the host,Don, immediately and cheerfully addressed a small problem with a clogged sink drain. “This house was perfect for our group of 6 adults. Very spacious. Kitchen was amazingly large- we had 4 people cooking and didn’t get in each other’s way. Lots of very useful kitchen tools. Fresh coffee and filters. Front porch with many chairs and a gorgeous view. We used the hot tub Twice. Nice to have dedicated towels right near the hot tub. Rules were clearly identified so we could honor the wishes of the owner (who was easy to communicate with and met us at the house to explain everything)....

“We had a wonderful and all-too-brief stay in Dryden visiting with family during the 4th of July weekend. Situated in 'downtown' Dryden, the house provided easy access to the Dryden Rail Trail for dog-walks and quick trips for conveniences while also being a short drive to Freeville and Ithaca for family events. Stylish but comfortable, and with a few key amenities already prepared by hosts to enable visitors to have a stress-free visit, we definitely felt welcomed on our stay.”

“My husband and I had the best time. The house was gorgeous. The view from the living room, kitchen, and master bedroom was magnificent. Although the weather didn’t permit us to use the lake, we loved that it was available to use if needed. It’s super quiet and off the beaten path. The house has some very cool gadgets like a panting AC and gas fireplaces. We would definitely go back.”

“The property and home are beautiful. Lauren is wonderful. Downfalls: no washclothes, too much glass on shelves where little hands can grab, no instructions left for heat (major for those of us from the south) and someone should really clean under the couch cushions. The master closet could be straightened up/organized so someone may be able to hang some clothes up in it. ”

“This is a property that exemplifies an absentee owner. It was clean inside but exterior was not well maintained. Fire pit rotted through, life vests moldy and deck smelled bad. The lake is beautiful to look at but full of seaweed and has water moccasin snakes around. It does have a two person limit so it’s overpriced.”
