"It was about when you would expect for the price. Its an old hotel, thus the price. The room was clean, but smelled of cigarettes even though it was supposed to be non-smoking. The breakfast area toilet was out of order as was the waffle maker. The pool had no water in it. If you want amenities, stay somewhere else. "

"It was ok for what we needed. We checked in late at night and left first thing in the morning. It was nice to be able to grab a quick bite to eat and go. They had eggs and sausages links for hot breakfast and of course the waffle maker. We didn’t expect it to be fancy for the price. The sheets were clean and soft but you could tell the top covers need to be replaced and had bleach stains and one beds mattress cover had a burn hole where you lay your head. They need to be replaced. And the door lock to the bathroom was broken and the door wouldn’t shut completely and no lock at all. "

"My stay was to perfection. Quiet, peace, fun, and very comfortably!!! Staff at the front desk were amazing!! Some of Housekeeping could be better with their attitude but they were doing a great job as well!! The breakfast provider made me feel welcomed as if it was bed in breakfast n stayed on top of breakfast items!! The water from a visual eye was not too good but hey it’s west Monroe that’s normal, still felt good!!! 9/10 Good Job wingate!!"
