Not clean!
When we arrived cabin had wood shavings/dust all over the place (we started cleaning as soon as we arrived due to this) as we are cleaning that shavings and dust off everything in the living area we then start looking at the floors which are disgusting (we kept shoes on the whole stay! Everything was great except for how dirty the cabin was. I haven’t stayed in a Vrbo this dirty ever!

I apologize for the condition of the cabin when Joshua checked in prior to his stay we had a terrible windstorm power outages and cold weather that did sand all Dustin debris throughout all our cabins we should have checked better I wish we could’ve known, but it was a time where all power was out and we could just not get around my apologies .Please read the many previous reviews for a true assessment of our cabins. great location close to town ,but just far enough that theres no noise.
great place ,only suggestion is new numbers for the out side of the houses so you can see them from the road,beside that would stay there anytime im back up there.

Quiet Cabin close to Town
If you are looking for a quiet cabin close to the action then look no further. You are two minutes off the main road but for easy access but I doesn’t feel that way as you sit on the porch. This is a must stay.

We loved everything about this cabin from check in to check out the host and family were amazing we came during Christmas weekend during the freezing cold storm so we spent a lot of time in cabin very comfy and host was superful helpful also little store around the corner was a life saver we went everyday Lol Totally worth it Can’t wait to come back

The house was what we wanted. Quite, secluded from town and no car traffic to speak of. The negatives are that there was some sewer smell when you drain hot tub from the washing machine drain. If that gets fixed -for price it’s hard to beat

Overall it was a good stay. The place was cleaner than most I have been to in the past, walls could use a good dusting and the shower curtain and window blinds had some stains. Checkin process was a little different than I have been through before...My only real complaint is that I messaged the property owner that I was bringing my 14lb dachshund with me when I booked it. I was not informed until I checked in that I had to crate the dog if left unattended. I had to drive to Petsmart in Sieverville and back with the dog to get a crate and set it up before we could start our trip. I would have rather had this info when looking at the listing. I could have brought a crate with me or found another listing. Plumbing makes a horrendous sound when the toilet is flushed, but it worked so no real problem. I did get to see a bear while staying, so that was nice.

Never stayed in a cabin before
The property owner was great sending texts welcoming us, giving us instructions on how to check in and letting us know how to reach him if we had any questions. Check in was easy. We drove to the cabin and walked in. The place seemed clean. Looked around and the place was clean. I was happy. Then when night time came so did the millipedes. They were coming in from all directions, which I hear millipedes are common in cabins, but I didn't know that since I've never stayed in one. We killed over 40 in one night. So long story short, if there weren't any millipedes or maybe just a few... I would have been fine, but since I'm terrified of bugs and just can't stand the thought of them touching me and there were so many, I was freaked out every night. We did get some hot shots bug spray and that did help some, but one even fell on my chest. Yuck!! I think there are a lot of gaps and cracks that could be filled and that may help with the bug issue some? I'm not sure because they were in every room, even crawling on the walls. But if you don't have an issue with bugs, this cabin was clean... Bathtub, toilet, sink, kitchen area and living room area al clean. The bed was comfy. It has pull-down blinds to give you privacy. I guess I'll just have to try a condo/hotel next time. Thanks tho for everything else.

Great place to stay!
This was a great little cabin to stay in for our quick getaway to Gatlinburg. It’s the perfect location for both a Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge without being in the middle of the traffic. The cabin was so nice for the price. Hot water, cold AC and warm heat…. Gotta love weather in the south! We even got to have a lazy afternoon watching the Braves game on the tv which was icing on the cake. We will definitely stay here again!
