"Property was in a great location with large pool and direct access to ocean. Great music and DJ. The restaurant adjacent was excellent. The rooms were updated well with a great view.
However the staff needs more training they could not answer basic questions, they did not tell us about the property, any amenities or direction.( ie: the pool staff bar told us we could not charge to our room and had to pay cash) Our room was not ready, we waited well past check in time. Even then, It was...

"We are visiting from New York to Dubai, and jumped to lebanon for a few days and stayed at 1808 Laklouk for two nights. IT WAS AMAZING!
1- The friendliness and warmth is real and honest and impossible to miss. You get everything that 6 star hotels try to create: personal, special attention and genuine humanity.
2- The place is GORGEOUS. The house is a piece of art, the landscaping is impeccable, the mountains and the apple trees next door and nature and small villages are breathtaking.
3- The care and cleanliness is and maintenance is top notch. We even added a child late and didn't look at the rules, but they were so kind and accommodating and we were so touched.
Right now, it's impossible for me to remember a better place to stay.
PS: we came out of season (October) and it is starting to get a bit cold. Not freezing or anything, but it's definitely Autumn. "
"
My stay at the Aleph Boutique Hotel in Byblos was wonderful. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring the old souks and the harbor, the property is beautifully designed and impeccably clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive.
The breakfast offered a great variety, though I would suggest a small improvement for food safety: during the service hours (7-11 AM), the cold cuts and cheeses are left out on the buffet table without refrigeration. Given the length of service, this could potentially become an issue. I believe chilling these items would ensure they remain perfect and fresh for every guest.
This minor point aside, I highly recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to stay here again. A truly lovely experience."
