When I walked in to the house I felt a sense of peace and even a reverence to it. This home is nearly 200 yrs old and the renovation and upkeep is wonderful, they were able to maintain the true essence of the home while updating electrical and plumbing. We were fortunate enough to be staying in the Smith room which added to the feeling of reverence even more. I later learned that the room had been used back before the temple was completed as an ordinance room. The owners and the caretakers of the home are kind, and engaging individuals. The breakfast was very good and the parlor/dining area was pretty and comfortable. I am so glad my wife chose this bed and breakfast 😊
