"This rv stay, hosted by Pam, was the oasis of peace I needed. Im in town for a family member with declining health and staying at the RV gave me so much peace in a space. The RV is cute, clean and stocked with all the creature comforts you need. The area was quiet and felt safe. But, the number perk is the host, Pam. Such a kind host and even had homemade cookies waiting for me at check in and checked in with me personally when I arrived. Looking forward to staying in the cozy hideout again in the future."

"Hotel has been newly painted, at least on the third floor. Manager was on the floor to greet guest thanking them for their patience with the paint smell. I found that to be very gracious of him to be doing that. Room was excellent, very spacious, extremely clean and very comfortable. my stay was for one night for a high school graduation. My stay was wonderful except the next morning the maid is already knocking on the door, wanting to clean the room which I found crazy since I was checking out that same morning. Did not appreciate that interruption so early. Other than that I highly recommend and will stay there again. Location is perfect. "

"There were SO many 1 & 2 star reviews on the internet for this property of how dirty and nasty it is. I was extremely hesitant to have my family stay here in the two rooms I reserved several months ago for my daughter's graduation on 5/11/24 for Tarleton University. I had also made backup reservations at the La Quinta Inn & Suites 30 minutes away in Glen Rose. I could cancel both reservations up till the day before arrival with no charge. My 79-year-old mom is very particular about the cleanliness of a hotel/motel room. She doesn't mind one being old and dated, but certainly won't stay in a dirty, gross place. She immediately checks the sheets after check-in and the bathroom. I called and talked to the manager, Luis, at the Stephenville Super 8 four days before arrival about my concerns of all the negative reviews. I asked if he could assign me two rooms ahead of time on the upper floor that he personally knew were in decent shape which he did. We were in rooms #227 with a king bed & couch and #229 with two queen beds and an over-stuffed chair. The rooms were clean, no weird smells, cold AC. Couple tiny stains on carpet. My tv in #229 had a bad picture. I told Luis and a new tv was installed. Pool area was spotless. Lobby was extremely clean. Continental breakfast was juices, coffee, cereals, muffins, etc... I don't know why all the horrible reviews. It was a clean, budget motel for $65. A to Luis and friendly staff. "
