Laurel Thicket at Do Drop Inn Cabin Rentals

This darling cottage/cabin has a full kitchen, seating area with hand made rockers, Queen size bed, bath with shower, Satellite TV, air & heat. Charming décor! Rustic in and out with all the modern amenities. Outdoor dining area, playground and with fire pit, gas grill, picnic tables, deck and outdoor sunroom.
No Wi-Fi.
Two miles to Fancy Gap restaurant and shops.
Close by attractions include Mabry Mill, Blue Ridge Music Center,Doughton Park, New River Trail Park, Crooked Creek stocked fishing stream. Mt. Airy N. C. is short drive for more shops and restaurants.

Damage Charges: The vacation cabin will be inspected after each tenant’s departure. If damages other than normal ware and tear are found, you will be notified immediately of the costs for resolving them.
No pets, no smoking and no lit candles inside.

Short getaway
Perfect property for a quiet getaway. Nestled in the Virgina mountain near Fancy Gap just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Second time staying for one in our party. First time for the other. Didn't want to leave and are looking forward to going back. You can do as much or as little as you want. I'd would recommend a stay here to anyone.

Blissful Peace and Quiet
I needed a break...some genuine peace and quiet, and that's exactly what I got, with lively surroundings to boot. Very comfortable for 1-2 people (only one bed). Well worth the cost. I'd go again at the drop of a hat.

Amazing Anniversary get away!!!
The stay was wonderful. Cabin was perfect for husband and I. Everything was well kept. Outside area was perfect for grilling. We utilized the porch and enjoyed the outdoor. Relaxation peace and quiet at its best. Simply beautiful. William and susie were great host!! Will be booking again.

Perfect getaway
Beautiful cabin in a beautiful location! Wonderful host who greeted us with a special treat! This cabin is truly a hidden gem! The fall foliage was spectacular and the deer watched us as we enjoyed coffee on the porch! Can’t wait to return!

Beautiful and unique grounds
It’s apparent how much work they put into this beautiful cabin and the grounds when you drive in. It’s kept up extremely well and clean and we were welcomed at checkin with a small conversation and piece of delicious cake. There is “community” areas such as a small area for kids to play in front of our cabin we stayed at and in the back yard there is also “community” outdoor cooking area, picnic tables, fire pit, deck with seating, and a sunroom as well as the owners home directly overlooking. Although the “community areas” were extremely close we never saw anyone utilizing them. We had no working phone signal and limited tv channels so be prepared to self entertain. There were some reading materials offered in our cabin and sunroom that was appreciated.

This was a great place to get away. The cabin was comfortable with lots of details and pride in ownership everywhere you looked. There were were numerous locations to enjoy the outdoors and a walking trail. A lovely place with wonderful owners.

We feel so comfortable staying on this private property. William and Susie have created the perfect private getaway. It is so clean and comforting, with everything you could possibly need. We stop at Lowes Food on the way in for those times when we want to stay in and enjoy the beautiful scenes and nature. Sitting on that porch with a cup of coffee is a piece of heaven!
