“We had a wonderful stay at The Jungalow! The property was perfectly located, close to the Volcano National Park and in a lovely neighborhood. The house itself was immaculate and very cozy. My entire family loved it. We were sad to only stay one night, if we make it back we would absolutely stay there for longer. Highly recommend The Jungalow!!”

“Nice clean updated home near Keaau (Hawaiian Paradise Park). Quiet neighborhood. Centrally located between Hilo and Volcano National Park made for a great place to explore the east side of the island. Hilo Farmers Market was worth checking out. Rainbow Falls was nearby as well. Volcano National Park was an awesome experience. Shopped at local grocery store and cooked on the grill on the back porch. “He great location out of town for rest..”

“It was such a treat for our family of four to stay at this home. The house is absolutely lovely! Plenty of space for all of us, so many wonderful outdoor spaces to use. The view is stunning! We never got tired of it. Easy walk to a beach nearby, and the perfect hub for several day and half day trips. The owner is wonderful! So friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with. We hope to be back soon!”

“My two children (ages 10 and 13) and I just spent five nights at Lazy Lehua, and we all loved it! It was a perfect set up for us, and every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations. This is a lovely property in a magical place - clean, well-maintained, and perfectly located to be an ideal jumping off point for park exploration. Stacey was friendly, responsive, and accommodating. We made many wonderful memories and we all sad to leave. We hope to return one day!”

“We really enjoyed our stay in your quiet little jungle home. Perfect location for exploring the volcanoes and not too far from Hilo. The only suggestion we would have is to be able to have bins that you can place recyclables, cans, bottles, etc.”

“Loved our stay at this lovely cottage set on 9 beautiful acres. It felt like we were actually guests of the original plantation house. Stayed for thirteen nights, and were joined by our daughter for five nights. Plenty of room for the three of us. Favorite times were morning coffee and afternoon cocktails on the veranda. Easy drive to both Hilo and Volcano, and Foodland grocery is a mile away. Highly recommend.”

“The house was a roomy older house, conveniently located 5 minutes from downtown Hilo. Overall, the house was terrific. The only drawback was the shower stall and showerhead. The shower flow was insufficient. A hand-held shower head would be better!”
