She made sure that every need that we had was attended to, whether it be restaurant reservations, transportation, booking a boat, booking our nightly massages….we felt that she bent over backwards for us. We have stayed at many 5 star resorts around the world and The Shigira ranks up as one of the best experiences that we have had.”

“建物が古いため、それなりに壁の染みやひび割れなどは見えますが、丁寧に掃除されていて不潔な感じはありません。 レストランが併設されているので食事に困りません。また、敷地内にスーパーがあり、ちょっとした買い物やお土産の調達はここで行えます。 ただし地元の雰囲気が強いため、観光客向けの食事や買い物ができるわけではありません。 朝食は毎日ほぼ同じ組み合わせで、メインの魚料理だけが変わります。 スタッフはみなさん親切です。とはいえ過度なサービスはないので、何もかもやってもらおうとしないほうがいいです。 レンタサイクルがありますが、錆だらけのママチャリで整備もされていないようでした。 近所を走るくらいなら問題ありませんが観光に使うのは難しいと感じました。 総じて、過度なサービスを求めず気ままな滞在をしたい場合には居心地が良く、なんの不満もありませんでした。”
