I’ve been visiting Vegas multiple times a month over the past couple decades. I’ve stayed at many hotels. The Horseshoe’s staff has hands down the most helpful and courteous staff I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet.

So we arrived prechecked so that we could just hit the kiosk, get a key and go to our room. Once we got to the kiosk, it spit out a key and no paperwork and no room number. I asked the person "on duty" at the kiosk station and she put me in a line where I waited 20 plus minutes to just get a room number. Beyond that, the room was clean and smelled nice. The exterior windows are filthy and blur your view. The hotel is showing it's age, though it is still nice. The ceiling area is painted like sky and had several leaks they were working on for days. The bartenders in the main little area next to the check in (with the blue velvet like chairs) are less than pleasurable to deal with. It seems every time we sat down to play the machines at the bar there was another rule about how much you had to keep feeding the machine for the free drinks. Some of the bartenders simply ignored us. For that reason most of our time (which was a full week) was spent in other hotel casino's where we spent our money. Also found the machines in Paris to be set very tight and rarely heard any excited yells of winners. At other hotels we heard excited screams constantly. The Bellagio side view was nice even with the dirty windows. The mattress was definitely worn and old leaving us stiff each morning. I'd stay here only if I got a stellar offer in the future.

Beds were good altough the bed covers were stained everything else was good.
