The room was clean but worn. The elevator and 2nd floor, where we stayed, had a strong, strange smell that I couldn't place. The lady that checked us made us feel unwelcome.

Silver Gull is an old hotel, but it is well managed, with large rooms, and good ocean views. The location is perfect! Right next to a wonderful pier and easy access to the beach. We would stay there again!
