“Location was excellent for walks, Castleton centre, pubs & restaurants. The cottage is very small but fine for two people & a dog. The log burner is great but no wood or matches are provided. The little kitchen area has everything you need although there isn’t any space for prepping food. The stairs are very steep. The bed is extremely comfortable & we slept really well. Both the bedroom & bathroom are great, although there is a step up to the shower which is quite precarious. The cottage was……

“We have just returned from a couple of nights at Brewers Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed it. The cottage is spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and bigger than it seems from the photos. Foolow is convenient access to some lovely areas and walks in the Peak District, and just a 10-15 minute walk from the cottage is the local pub that does fabulous food and has very friendly staff. Do take a torch for the walk there and back on darker nights though!! All in all, a fantastic stay and we would……

“If you are looking for the perfect stay stop looking ! After driving up from London to explore the Peak District we were delighted to arrive at a very new, designer appointed lovely home ! Sitting at night and watching the birds on the canal was so peaceful and relaxing. While being close enough to Lyme Park and Lyme House - (Jane Austen would approve) and Chatsworth etc the truly grand homes we shopped and cooked as there was everything we needed to stay in and enjoy our stay. “Loved Torr Top Place! As a solo older lady who wanted to visit Manchester’s Christmas markets, this was a perfect base. The kitchen was well equipped, sitting room cozy, bathroom modern, and everything immaculate. Uber transport was readily available and Sainsbury’s (local grocer) was a short walk away. I highly recommend Torr Top Place!”

“Stunning location and beautiful home. The apartment was very well equipped, comfortable and warm. Two lovely sized bedrooms, one smaller double, but with adequate space. All three rooms have en-suites which is great, with an amazing spacious kitchen/ family room. Thought parking for two cars might be an issue, but we always found spaces. The location is perfect for some great walks. It is about 20 minutes drive from the local shops, the pub is closer, within walking distance if you want to go……
