"This was such a fun & unique overnight stay on our long drive from Paris to Geneva. Our family of 5 loved the experience of sleeping in a treehouse in the middle of the woods. The accomodation is very charming but of course facilities are quite basic, so be aware that you have to walk a little way to toilets & showers. We drove 15min to eat after the very helpful host Jean pointed us in the right direction. A very memorable experience."

"A beautiful, quiet place hosted by a lovely older lady, who tells many good stories. Melin feels like the middle of nowhere, and maybe it is, but there are many animals to befriend. The place itself is simple, but cozy, with a heartfire burning in the early morning, when we were welcomed by the host at breakfast. It has a somewhat historical feel in that sense. Time did not touch this place so much. Speaking French is a necessary skill to have here."

"Nous avons passé une nuit dans une charmante maison rénovée. Tout le confort s’y trouve et même plus. Emmanuelle est très attentive à ce qu’on ne manque de rien. Le nécessaire de base (et même plus) pour manger est à disposition. Ensuite il y a moyen d’acheter ce qu’on veut dans les armoires en cas de besoin. "Een heerlijke accommodatie voor een overnachting onderweg naar het zuiden van Frankrijk (of terug). De ruimtes zijn precies zoals op de foto's. Het appartement is erg schoon en ruikt fris. "Good option for an overnight stay. I had booked the “superior” room but had to ask for it after being allocated a cheaper room. Service from reception was pleasant. The “duvet” bed cover was coarse and not pleasant to sleep under. My room AC dripped about 500ml of water overnight - the waste bin collected it! The adjacent grill restaurant served decent food at reasonable prices. Bonus was the reasonably priced electric car charging terminals. Note that the hotel is locked until 4pm, so don’t bother hoping for an early checkin. "
