"The hotel and its surroundings were truly picturesque. The rooms were spotless, and while the restaurant offered a limited selection, the overall experience was pleasant. However, one concern was the presence of dead flies on the restaurant’s window sill. Given the warm weather, this issue should have been addressed promptly to maintain cleanliness "

"This is not a complaint only things we found wrong was the wardrobe was covering the bathroom light switch, the kettle was to big to fit in the sink to fill up and the mirror was to high up on the wall we stayed in room 6"

"Excellent location just off the M6 motorway, staff were very friendly and the room was very clean and comfortable. Shower could have been a bit more comfortable. The only thing i dont understand is the £5 charge for Parking. The hotel has its own grounds outwith the main services parking so the only people using the car park are hotel guests. Its at a motorway services so no one can access the hotel without a vehicle so the extra £5 for parking is a bit of a joke, I would feel better if it was just £5 extra onto the hotel cost and hidden rather than feeling like a rip off"

"Was able to order food from the kitchen and take to my room. Very tasty. Comfy bed. Nice decor in bathroom and choice of showers!"

"Totally enjoyed it from start to finish. Comfy bed, lovely view from room 17. The staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was spot on, as were the evening meals. Lovely part of the country with plenty of walks. "
