“A wonderful cosy, quirky cottage, deep in the Kent countryside. Ideal location for walking dog owners, a couple looking for a romantic break or friends. Perfect for a short winter break. Lovely log burner. Relaxing and peaceful. A word of warning, very steep stairs. Felt like we were on a boat at times as the floors upstairs slope so much. This place has real character though and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, seeing the New Year in. Highly recommend.”

“The good sides:Very Spacious! Well equipped, car park available. Those need to improve : Not too clean, e. g. Some spider web inside room, on the door knob... No curtain around the bath tub in the master bedroom... Hotel.com didn't inform us clearly the check in procedure - e. g. We need to contact the staff by phone for a password to the key safe! ”

“I stayed in this gorgeous cottage/annex for one month.It is furnished to a very high standard and is probably the nicest place I have ever stayed for comfort, cleanliness and having every imaginable appliance in the kitchen.Everything is done with great care, the welcome hamper full of goodies, fresh flowers on the table., books, magazines, extra towels in the bathroom. Lovely bathroom with a super shower. Spring flowers emerging in the garden, beautiful location in the Elham Valley area with……

“Described as a newly built property but was actually built during Covid. Quality of facilities very good but badly let down by cleanliness issues. Around the base of shower tray black grime, kitchen sink accessories stained and fridge needed cleaning. Looks like a quick hoover and tidy is all it gets between customers. Overall very disappointed. Not good value for money and can’t agree with other reviews.”
