Never disappointed
What can I say accept that our stay is never disappointing, the condo is absolutely beautiful, always spotlessly clean and provides everything you need to have that ultimate getaway. You don’t need anything accept to take in all the beauty that this place offers!! And the host’s are just incredible always. Thank you for another amazing experience!!

Great place!!
Very well appointed condo with beautiful views and large balcony. It was wonderful being right next to the Ritz Carlton and all the dining options there. We walked on the beach which is lovely. The host was very, very thoughtful and engaged, the beds were comfortable and the unit well maintained and clean.

Amazing
This condo was absolutely fabulous. The place was super clean, had all the amenities that you could want, and the most amazing view of the water and beach. We even had fun watching for the gopher tortoises and rabbits. Bring a pair of binoculars and you will enjoy watching the dolphins play in the water too. The location was absolutely perfect. We would definitely stay there again.

Outstanding Condo, Phenomenal Views - Highly Recommend
Our adult children wanted to celebrate our 30th Anniversary with us via an ocean vacation. After much research, we hit the proverbial jackpot....18 OCEAN PLACE. The owners gifted us with a chilled bottle of wine upon arrival! Much appreciated after our flight. Outstanding condo, super clean (and I'm very particular...labeled clean freak), beautifully furnished with a spectacular view. We have traveled from Maui to Destin, and would rate Ocean 18 on breath taking Amelia Island #1 without hesitation. Not to mention the outstanding communications with the owners. The condo was beautiful and had everything needed. Additionally, there were beach chairs, umbrellas, canopies, etc. The location is convenient to both fine and casual dining; and minutes from the quaint town of Fernandina. And of course the Ritz Carlton is 100 yards away. My recommendations usually are very hard to earn...but without hesitation - I rate 18 Ocean Place and it's owners A++++

Five Star vacation condo
We have been vacationing for years on Amelia Island and found this condo to be head and shoulders above the rest. It starts with the wonderful and receptive owners, Brad and Aimee. The listing does not even begin to accurately describe how great the condo and included amenities are. The condo is newly renovated and very clean. The building is right on the beach and next to the Ritz Carlton. You only have a short walk over the dunes to the beach or next door to the restaurants and spa at the Ritz. The condo has beach chairs, an umbrella and several boogie boards / floats. Beach towels are in the condo so all you need is already there! Brad and Aimee checked in with us when we arrived, at midweek and upon departure to answer any questions or make suggestions. If you had to deal with a management company you would be lucky to get a call back the same day. We highly recommend staying at this condo and you will not be disappointed.

Picky Guest with a 5 Star Rating!
I will start by saying I am likely one of the pickiest users of VRBO. I probably expect too much admittedly. But this unit MET ALL OF MY EXPECTATIONS and then some! First, there are no surprises. All that is pictured is exactly what you'll find - and I appreciate that. But, the bonus is all that you can't see in photos... the Master bed is extremely comfortable, the cleanliness of the unit was better than any place we've ever stayed (Spotless!) and the reclining leather couches offer everyone a chance to relax. There were so many "extras" that I appreciate while vacationing too ... "brand new-like" Tommy Bahama beach chairs and umbrella, SO many beach toys, plush beach towels, kitchen and laundry supplies available that you typically have to purchase (may have been left from previous guests), a GREAT coffee maker, pantry shelf space for guests... I could go on and on. Needless to say, our vacation was absolutely wonderful largely due in part to our accommodations. Brad was also very attentive to our needs while staying, and provided a great amount of emails with recommendations for the area before we arrived. Overall ... great hosts. Fantastic views. Beautiful home. We are so appreciative to have found this unit, and plan to book again soon! Thanks so much Brad!

Sometimes we forget to stop and enjoy life, always with the hustle of the grind. As soon as we arrived to our location we realized how beautiful life is. Everything you need and more
Everything has been thought of, for anyone looking to stay on the most beautiful stretch of sand on Amelia island. Discovered Ocean Place last year when we were at the Ritz. Same beach, same view, same appointments at spa, same drinks and sushi at lobby bar. We cooked for ourselves most nights and everything you needed to stir, measure, pour into was available in triplicate. Hosts accessible and totally charming. Saw reviews for apartments in same complex some not so flattering and none were anywhere close to what we experienced at 18 .

Perfect location with amazing view & beach
Thank you Brad & Aimee for an amazing stay at 18 Ocean Place. Check in and check out was probably the easiest and least complicated of anywhere I have stayed. We really appreciated all of the special touches like a comfy bed and good pillows, snacks, a bottle of champagne and a well stocked kitchen. It is so nice to stay in a rental property with good pans and cooking utensils. The ocean view was the show stopper for this property..what a stunner. We also had great views of the fireworks for New Year’s Eve at the Ritz. From the balcony. We enjoyed several meals at the Ritz and at Lagniappe. The local of the condo could not be beat!! We would love to return again sometime in the warmer weather.

This is our 2nd stay at 18 Ocean Place. So beautiful and welcoming. Great communication with owners. Lovely furnishings but also a place to relax and have fun. Nice beach chairs and umbrella and a place to store beach items outside the condo. View is wonderful. Short walk to the beach. No crowds. Tons of restaurants and shopping downtown. Really nice people all around. Could not ask for more!

Family Vacation
18 Ocean Place is a wonderful condo! It was perfect for our vacation. It is beautifully decorated! The view from the balcony is beautiful anytime of the day - whether it was to watch the sunrise or to view the moon before going to bed. The condo was quiet. It is close to the elevator, but we never heard any hallway/elevator noise. It was also away from pool noise which is what we were looking for. Communication was easy - it was just a text away if anything was needed or if we needed a suggestion for a restaurant. The extra bedroom is tucked away in the back corner of the condo which our two college kids loved so that they could sleep in. We would stay at this condo again in a heartbeat!

Great Stay!
This was by far our best beach stay! The communication from day one (owners called to introduce themselves) was stellar. Check in was seamless. The condo was clean, comfortable and well stocked. Fantastic location and condo
Everything is exactly as described. Brad is extremely fast at responding to any questions, including recommendations of where to rent bikes. A few days before our stay he emailed a flyer all about the area. The condo is beautiful, comfortable beds, kitchen with all the cooking tools you need. Beach chairs, toys and umbrellas there for your use. And the view!!!! Next doo to the Ritz and close to shopping and restaurants. Couldn’t ask for anything more.

Amazing Trip, Hosts, and Condo
This is far and away the best trip we have ever taken through VRBO. Aimee and Brad are some of the best hosts we have interacted with and their condo is amazing. Aimee and Brad are first class hosts, as they were so accommodating and so quick to answer any questions we had. Their condo is immaculate and the view of the ocean when you first walk in is breathtaking. The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were extremely comfortable, the place was spotless, I could sit out on that balcony all day, and the little touches throughout that the hosts leave for their guests is why we cannot wait to return.

AMAZING condo and view!
We booked our trip to Amelia Island months ago and were so impressed by Brad and Aimee’s communication! They are both so friendly and helpful and answered all of my questions! They knew we got into town earlier than the room was ready and text us to let us know it would be ready early, which was unbelievably nice! The condo is beautiful, clean and had everything we needed and more. The beds were comfortable, towels were soft, great quality beach towels, etc! The list goes on and on. Nothing beats the view of the ocean! From every window in the condo all we could see was the ocean! Absolutely gorgeous, especially watching the sunrise from the porch! The location was perfect and since it’s next to the Ritz-Carlton we were able to walk over to eat at their restaurants. My kids were so excited to see tortoises, bunnies and deer walking in the dunes right in front of our condo. The condo and location exceeded our expectations and we will definitely stay there again!

18 Ocean Place getaway
18 Ocean Place is well decorated and spotless. Furnishings are updated and comfortable. The towels and bedding are nice quality. The king bed is very comfortable! We love coming to Ocean Place as it is so close to the Ritz and the downtown restaurants and this condo was perfect. Brad and Aimee are easy to contact and respond back very quickly with answers to any questions. We like to cook some meals when we are visiting and were impressed how well the kitchen was stocked- good quality pots and pans, dual coffee maker and high end blender! Its nice that the owners leave a few pantry items that are helpful in meal prep. There is a outside closet full of beach chairs and toys which are perfect for kids! Also there are four nice beach towels available for use in the condo. Overall a great experience at this beautiful condo!

Great getaway to Amelia Island
Brad and Aimee's condo was even prettier in real life than in the photos: yes, the ocean is right there and you can sit for hours watching and listening to the waves. Everything was spotless clean, and they provided every kitchen appliance and utensil you could possibly need, something lacking in so many rental units. Great place and great stay!

High end luxury condo that checks all of the boxes. Awesome views, comfortably beds and quite surroundings with easy beach access that is less crowded than main beach areas. It had everything we needed to make our stay feel more like home. We didn’t believe we would need the extra amenities (beach chairs, toys, body boards etc.) that were available to us for the beach, but we actual used them! The owners are great folks that care about their home as well as your happiness during your stay, and it shows… thank you! We have found our new go to spot for future Amelia Island vacations!

Great place to stay
This is a great place to stay. Brad and Aimee are five star hosts. They help you before and during your stay. Brad sent information about bike rental before we arrived. He also checked in to see if we had gotten in. When I said we were running late due to flight issues, he checked in later. If you need anything while staying there, they are very helpful. The condo is in a great spot, beautifully decorated and has everything you might need for your stay. We loved sitting on the patio with a bottle of wine and enjoying the view. We will definitely be back. P.S. I had a meeting at the Ritz Carlton and was closer to the meeting rooms than people actually staying in the hotel. Also, the gopher tortoises are a lot of fun to watch.

The Best of Everything!
We loved this condo! It was on the 4th floor, beautiful views. I was worried that the elevator would be a hassle but we Never had to wait for an elevator. I really liked having the storage closet right outside the front door. They had super nice beach chairs, an umbrella, and boogie boards for us to use. There is a short and easy walk to the beach. The pool is very nice and also convenient. I was surprised at the quality of appliances and finishes in the condo. It is very upscale, but still very comfortable. The kitchen is totally stocked with everything we needed. The owner checked on us several times throughout the booking process and when we checked in. We had zero issues. Amelia Island is such a great place to visit. There are so many shops and restaurants, especially in the adorable historic downtown. The beach is spacious and never too crowded. If you’re headed to Amelia Island. This is a great place to stay!

Perfect home away from home!
This was the perfect location for a week away! We love Ocean Place and Ocean Place 18 was perfect. All the comforts of home and then some. The owners have thought of all the small details to make guests feel right at home. We were comfortable and happy overlooking the Atlantic on beautiful Amelia Island. Can't say enough good things about this condo, and we certainly hope to book again for next year. Thanks to Brad and Aimee for making their home feel like home for us!

Just as advertised
My wife and I booked Brad and Aimee's condo for our 45th wedding anniversary. Everything that you see in the photos is what you get, great location, every convenience, fully stocked living area with all the accoutrements. Our daughter had her wedding at the Ritz so we knew how appealing Amelia Island would be, but the condo made our stay even better. We will plan to return with friends or family in the future. Our personal thanks go out to Brad and Aimee for making the stay so enjoyable.

Great Condo in Prime Location
My wide and I had a very enjoyable visit to Amelia Island. The condo was very nice, well appointed and very clean. It was great to have every thing we needed in the condo to allow us to fix any type of meal we wanted, watch the gorgeous sun rises from the balcony, read while listening to the ocean or even break down and catch a little tv viewing during a passing shower. The condo also has beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards provided to allow for long days on the beach or you can opt to use one of the two swimming pools if that is more your speed. The owners were very communicative and responsive to ensure we had what we needed during our visit. We look forward to a return visit in the future.

We very much enjoyed our stay here! The condo was clean, neat and very well equipped. Brad and Aimee have thought of everything...and then some. Brad was very helpful with some extraneous needs that we had for our trip which was much appreciated. Beautiful views from the balcony. This was our first trip to Amelia Island and I am certain we will be back!

Best Location on the Beach
Great stay at this condo. Well equipped and a bottle of wine waiting for you in the fridge. This really is one of the best beach spots on the island. Kitchen fully equipped, games in the cabinet, everything that you would need. Harris Teeter just a mile down the road. Would stay again.
