You'll be spoiled for sightseeing choice when spending time in Mitte. Jerusalem Tower is a good place to begin here, but there are loads of other fine spots to discover. Porta Nigra, Trier Cathedral, and Arena Trier are close to the historic government building and will fill in your day nicely.

Great location. Rooms are quite dated. I know it’s a historic hotel but heater appears to be from the early 20th century. Thermostat doesn’t work. Shower has 5 control knobs even my AI can’t tell me how to use them. You only need one knob in most hotel…
