And yet, we could also easily drive to sites around Stockholm and Lake Malaren. The house is so lovely. Everything is comfortable and cozy. The kitchen is very well-equipped--we made all of our meals there. There are flowers everywhere--inside and out. And it was SO quiet! The only sounds we heard were birds chirping and the clip-clop of the occasional horse being ridden down the lane. Lastly, the hosts were so lovely and hospitable. "No one available on arrival to let me in and phone number on door didn’t work. Came back an hour later 18:00 and someone did answer the door. Advised wrong room and walking into occupied room. Back to reception for an alternative key/room. Shower head was broken so didn’t stay up. Not very good for showering. "
