We arrived after dark and there were people around outside in the back. Several people sitting in their cars outside the hotel at 9pm seems weird as well. We got up early to leave but wanted to make sure we had a chance to get the breakfast but at 7am there was a lobby full of people and two workers at the desk refusing to do what they could and just said the”cook” is late it will be 30-40 more min before they would be there….considering the level of breakfast that these places offer why wasn’t anyone of the front desk staff at least getting the food available that was easy like the toast and pastries or cereal or yogurt and fruit? Nope just standing there watching a lobby full of pist off hotel guest. Very poor customer service. The sink in our room smelled horrible like the pipes needed to be flushed or something. Nasty smell coming from it that made me gag every-time I washed my hands or brushed my teeth. The best thing about this hotel. The water pressure in the shower after 5 days of camping and mountain biking in Sedona was amazing. I felt so clean and relaxed. I would stay here again but just have less expectation to receive a nice breakfast in the morning.

For one night a perfect experience. We do the small hike with the nice view and watching stars at night.

We left to an early tour and planned to return to the room before checkout time. We couldn't find the DND sign so left. Returned to our room being stripped of all linen and the door proped open. The staff allowed us to stay in the room until check out time and offered to make the bed. But we were so tired from our travels we just threw a blanket down and rested until check-out time. The hot tub was not hot. Breakfast was good.
