Hiking, beaches, and year-round recreation are all within easy reach of home.
The three-story interior comes well-appointed for contemporary convenience and comfort.
Designed for household living, the main floor features a stainless steel full kitchen, full bathroom, separate living and dining areas, and a furnished deck. Watch sunrise while sipping coffee on the deck or enjoy a waterfront breakfast at the four-seater table in the kitchen. Family meals can be enjoyed together at the dining room table set for six. The cozy adjacent sitting area showcases artifacts charting the community's regional heritage and photos documenting the home's historical restoration. After the day's adventures, unwind in the living room with shows and movies on the smart TV.
Upstairs, you'll find a bedroom with an en suite bathroom and an open loft area equipped with a game table and futon providing an additional sleeping option. The upper deck is accessible from the loft and second, full bathroom provides added guest convenience.
The lower level features a private bedroom and an open storage area housing the private washer/dryer and a gas grill for summertime cookouts.

Source lobster at the local cooperative near the Beals Bridge after days on Sandy River Beach. Visit the Jonesport Historical society building or hike the Great Wass Island Preserve. The Wild Blueberry Festival takes place in mid-August in nearby Machias. Day trips include Roque Bluff Beach and State Park and Acadia National Park.

Tidal changes create conditions not suitable for boat-docking. Moorage is not permitted at this home.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting 'Yes' to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The $20 nightly fee will apply for each additional dog.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
