“We came to Tamarindo for a wedding, but didn’t want to stay at the hotel. There were 7 adults in our group who wanted something more private so we chose Hacienda del Pacifico. Pros: Each bedroom had its own bathroom. Courtyard area with pool and outdoor kitchen was AMAZING. Cleaning service came on certain days. Property felt safe and secure. Check in/out was very easy. “My husband and I booked this property to take our two young adult sons (21 and 22)on a family vacation. The gated community was perfect for our sons to venture out without us worrying about them driving to unfamiliar areas. It was very convenient to have shops, cafe, restaurant and bar in the gated community. I spent more time on the patio by the pool than in the house! “The property was fantastic, exactly like the pictures, if not better. Location was also perfect, quiet, relaxing and only a 15 min walk to downtown. We also had access to a beach club which was only about a 6 min walk. Jose was very easy to deal with and replied to messages promptly. Mari arrived each morning to cook a delicious breakfast and kept the house clean. We could not have enjoyed our time more at this property!”

“We were a party of 10, our family of 7 plus 3 boyfriends and we stayed for a week in February. I can not say enough about Casa Blanca and Nosara in general. The house is well kept, clean and comfortable for all 10 of us. Good beds, amazing pool area, jungle deck and upper deck where we played cards every night. The house is about a 10 minute walk to the nearest beach entrance and a 20 min walk to the shops in town. This translates to a 5 min golf cart ride to the beach and 10 min to town. Very……

“The pictures on line are older, and do not reflect present conditions. We enjoyed our stay, great location. BUT, the place badly needs to be updated and is not well maintained. Just a lot of little things. The biggest problem was that the host was not truthful when asked about the hot tub. I specifically asked if it was working (because of earlier reviews) and was told it was working, it was not, probably has not worked in awhile, the pump motor is buried in sand. We loved the wildlife, howler……
