"This is a great basic hotel that knows its customer and serves them well. Very, very comfortable with friendly staff it is ideal to use as a base to explore the area. It is walkable to the station and an easy walk to the city centre although there are trams available nearby too. We loved the honesty bar approach when reception was unstaffed and there are some great food options nearby. Sokrates around the corner is exceptional. "

"Located in the old town of Durlach, we had free parking on the street every night, right near the hotel. I've never been in a hotel where everything in the mini bar is complimentary ! Beer, water, soda, coffee, was free of charge, Prima! if you choose to decline housekeeping, they give you a 5 Euro gift card each day to spend at the bar. Nice touch. I did have to ask for a second blanket as the one in room was rather small. other than that, nice place, very Quiet, clean, and staff helped us find excursions."

"Good reasonably central location for Karlsruhe. Convenient underground parking. Trams run directly past hotel entrance and can be a bit noisy at night/ early morning as they pass, but this is to be expected in the location. Rooms and bathrooms clean and comfortable."
