“From the first day we booked to the day that we left, we received almost immediate responses to every question we asked. As usual, there were a couple of arrival difficulties, but the host quickly took care of those. The house is beautiful. We were able to walk to the point and watch the waves and even some whales. They also made great suggestions about restaurants and supermarkets in the area.”

“The house, which my children called the Treehouse, was absolutely beautiful. We loved listening to all the birds and frogs in the jungle surrounding. The house was exquisitely decorated inside and out. Kitchen was well stocked and everything was immaculately clean. Host was great to work with and very responsive. We are dreaming of when we can return.”

“This home has a million dollar view with the pool oceanfront. You can see the neighboring homes but it’s not a noisy neighborhood at all. The home has most all the necessities you’d need for your stay. Beds were comfortable and showers were very good. There is the extra guest house where my 15 and 9 year old stayed and they thought it was great to get their own space. It’s quite a way from Hilo but the view and neighborhood is worth it.”

“The location is simply fabulous. You walk out the back patio on grass and then black volcanic rock to the edge of the ocean surf. From the house, we delighted in exploring the network of roads and trails in the Pahoa district south of Hilo. Not to be missed is Uncle Robert's community music and food festival every Wednesday evening.
