"This place was heaven. Coming from a big city area, this place was quiet, peaceful, tranquil, and only about 20-25 minutes from most everything we wanted to see and do on the island. Stop at the general store in Volcano Village for sandwiches for your day in the park-easily one of the tastiest sandwiches we’ve ever had. Great stay, will be back!"

"I spent 10 nights here in November. This is a very clean cottage, very well maintained. The owner/host is awesome and was in the area taking care of his other cottages so I spoke with him a couple times. He even stopped by and dropped off a new air fryer for me one day. Worked out great for fish and crabcakes from Pahoa. What’s incredible about this place is the location. It’s right in the middle of the red road along the south eastern cliffs of the big island. this is easily the closest vacation rental to Kehena Beach, about a one minute walk. stunning Beach, I’ve never seen anything else quite like it, but check it out before you go. It’s not an ordinary beach. Location is remote, beautiful, but only about an hour from volcanoes national Park. I was able to make several trips to the Volcano during my stay. Hope to stay here again!"
