About this property
Rustic Cabin in Volcano Village
Rustic Cabin in the rain forest, located 5 miles to Hawaii Volcanos National Park.
The quaint country cottage will draw the image just right.
House is tailored to rejuvenate and enjoy seclusion in the forest. You can expect peaceful surroundings suited to relax and boost your creative juices.
We are on a higher elevation, bring warm clothing and a rain jacket. House is located on 3200 ft (975n) above sea level. This translate to much milder climate compering to all Hawaii as we know it. Summer nights are chill and winter ones get cold. AC has no use in here although heaters are handy and located in every room.
Space Rustic cabin with a wooden finish through the entire house with the scenery of the rain forest helps to create that “back in a day” rural atmosphere which I find really helpful to detach oneself from usual haste and bustle of city life.
Sleeping arrangements are: Queen size bed for 2 in one bedroom and twin over twin-bunk bed and one twin bed for 3 in kids bedroom.
Work friendly space with large desk and recently upgraded internet to fiber optics with 500Mbps speed on the cable and strong wifi signal plus HP printer connected to home wifi.
There is a garage gym (free weights, bench press, tractor tire)
For the security and safety of the guests and protection of the property, the outside of the cottage has surveillance monitoring.

We enjoyed staying here! It was super close to the volcanoes. Enjoyed sitting on the back porch drinking morning coffee listening to the wildlife! Will definitely come again!
Clean, quiet, cozy & private. The cabin was perfect for our family of 5 adults to spend the night so we could view the volcano after dark. The little fireplace stove was an added bonus. We all slept very well.
We had a great stay at the cabin. It was exactly as advertised. The kids loved their room with the bunk beds and lights. It was great for visiting Volcano National Park. We would stay again!
Great cabin in the rainforest of Hawaii. Close to Volcano National Park and Hilo. Beautiful views from the cabin of the forest and landscaping and can’t see any neighbors. All the needed amenities and comfy feel inside.
Great location to explore Volcano National Park and the towns beyond. Clear nights for star gazing. Home is fully equipped and has a cozy, quaint aura. We will be back!
This was the perfect little place to stay. We stayed just one night so we could spend the next day in VNP. I wish we would have booked it for more. The property is surrounded by beautiful forest, and the star gazing was awesome. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a couple meals. It was a coy place to hang out.We would definitely recommend it!
We stayed two nights with our 3 year old boy and 7 months old daughter to visit the Volcano National Park. The cabin was really great, well equipped & clean. We enjoyed the chimney & our son loved the bunk bed. There was also a baby bed available for the little one.
Thanks for having us! We definitely recommend staying here!
Good place to land and decompress while orienting away from the crowded touristy vibe on the dry side. Very quiet, with beautiful yard; our only complaint would be that one of the twin beds wasn't comfortable for an adult, so someone slept on the couch instead. Excellent value, and pretty straightforward process to deal with.
Perfect rustic stay and so close to the volcano national park. It was quaint and clean and my kids felt like we were in a tree house. We enjoyed staying there.
Cute little rustic cabin is the perfect description. Perfectly located for access to the national park. We unfortunately missed the star gazing due to the full moon but it was a great place for our family’s needs.
Our family of 5 had a great two night stay. The cabin had everything we needed and truly loved how close it was to the park. We would highly recommend to anyone!!
Easy check-in/check-out, clear instructions, and a cozy place to stay while exploring the national park and the island! It was cool to be nestled in the forest with the sounds of nature and the starry skies.
The home was well stocked and convenient for our family of 4. We loved the beautiful garden around the home. The rooms were also convenient and we had a good time.
Bucket list experience as we were able to witness eruption 45 of Kīlauea. This cabin is in the perfect location to visit Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. If you are a light sleeper, bring some noise cancelling headphones as the coqui frogs make quite a bit of noise at night.
This was a very cute place and my family enjoyed our short stay. Very unique and had a lot of character which we love. Small but space is used well. Very quiet neighborhood.
