"This apartment wasn’t our first choice due to a booking error by Hotels.com however we were disappointed with the overall cleanliness of the apartment with a strong odour of stale cigarettes. The longe area hadn’t been cleaned as there was a dirty sock under the sofa. The kitchen cupboard handles were also sticky. The window blind in the 1st bedroom was broken. The apartment was very warm however we were unable to sleep with the window open due to the location on a busy road and a nearby noisy...

"The room I had was roomy and clean, bathroom/shower again clean and spacious. Equipment and white goods suited my needs. Entrance to the room a little dark as outside lights didn't react early enough. Overall I would book again if in that area."

"The actual apartment was clean, comfortable and serviceable. It is in a block with more permanent residents who do not have the same standards of cleanliness.
Post box junk mail emptied on the entrance floor.

"Good points - very dog friendly, easily accessible shared garden area, comfy bed, powerful shower, excellent curry delivered from next door
Niggles - large green light permanently on in the ceiling, flooded the whole room with a green glow that kept us awake. Very thin walls which are not great when the guests in the neighbouring room stay up until 2am, no ventilation (no window to open) so very stuffy even in December"

"We loved our stay at Rushton Hall and will be returning as soon as we can. The building itself is extremely beautiful and you feel like you’re stepping into history. The grounds are lovely for a walk (although would be nice to have more outside lighting at night, as it was very dark trying to walk around after dinner). The spa has excellent facilities - the swimming pool is warm (which is rare!) with a comfy hot jacuzzi and dry and wet sauna/steam rooms, and plenty of beds around the swimming pool.
We stayed in the Cedar room - The bedroom was spacious and comfy, with a large bed, smart TV and great coffee facilities. The bathroom has a large power-shower, and a bath with its own TV. The only thing that would’ve made it better would be to have a small fridge with cold drinks.
The restaurant and bar were great with an excellent breakfast. Overall it was a fantastic stay, and we are excited to return! "

It is a historic building with a wow factor but is up to date inside. We had a standard room which was lovely
