Relaxing stay with lots if time @ the pool. Fishing charters (Trublue Charters) picks you up right @ the docks. Clean fish fileting table. Grilled the catch @ the clean common area by the water. Safe & secure compound. Looking forward to another stay, in the not too distant future.👍🏖🍹

Spacious Rental with a View
We’ve stayed at Moon Bay multiple times in recent years prior to our stay in penthouse B503 & this visit did not disappoint. It’s such a friendly and well maintained resort community with so much to offer. We had everything we needed, and Dave & Melanie were very kind and responsive to any questions we had. Keys Condo was very fun!
We really enjoyed our stay here. The space was very comfortable for our party of 6. We loved the screened in porch. The property was great, the kids liked the pool (though it was pretty hot in August). My favorite was probably taking the kayaks out at sunset. We used the condo as a great base to explore the keys and we enjoyed our trip very much!

Great Stay in the Keys
My family and I had a great time. The condo community had almost everything you could want on vacation from relaxing pool to game room to BBQ area to hammocks to watch the sunset to kayaks to a slip for the boat. The unit has a great view and the owner/ host was real nice. My family and I had a great time and if we don't travel to the Bahamas by boat for our next vacation we will come back here to the keys.

Really enjoyed this property
We have stayed all up and down the Keys for many years. It is one of our favorite places to vacation because we enjoy boating, diving and fishing. This was our first time staying at Moon Bay Condos and we were very impressed. The particular condo we stayed in was one of only two penthouses on the fifth floor. The layout was perfect for our family. The master is immediately upon entering, then down the hall is the living and dining area, kitchen and two other bedrooms. The living room has floor to ceiling windows with a spectacular view of the pool. The unit also has a very large outdoor screen room with bar and comfortable sitting area. During the milder, less humid months that would be a wonderful place to hang out with family. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need. And having a washer and dryer made it possible to pack light because we knew we could launder clothes as needed. We also found a number of fun games which we played in the evening. The grounds are well maintained with numerous hammocks overlooking the water. In the air conditioned clubhouse there was a foosball game, ping pong table and large screen tv and sitting area. This unit has a boat slip which offered the ultimate in convenience as we pursued our daily boating adventures. The owners were friendly and very easy to communicate with. I can highly recommend this rental for anyone desiring to stay in Key Largo.

Moon Bay Vacation
Moon Bay is located in the heart of Key Largo with many activities just a short drive away. The condo has a very nice layout, although the decor is a bit dated. We loved having the use of the properties kayaks and paddleboards and the fishing was amazing!

Great Place!
The space was amazing for our family of 5! The complex was very family friendly. We throughly enjoyed the pool and foosball table. The unit was dated but had all the things we needed for a fun week. We will definitely be booking again!

Moon bay condominiums had so much to do on the property it was all kept up very well, The condo was nice and large for the family beautiful views of the pool and the bay . The inside of the condo was a little outdated but very nice. It was great that the condo came with a boat dock we were able to use our boat. The owner of the condo was very good about letting us know all the information we needed to have. Thank you so much Dave and Melanie, we had a wonderful time

We had 8 people ranging from less than 2 to 60. Everyone had a great time. Everything you need is at the condo. Managers answered us with any questions we had immediately I would stay here again. There was some construction at the complex but not in our unit. Didn't stop the fun.

We really enjoyed staying here! We had 2 families. 4 adults and 2 teens and had tons of room. We loved the closed in balcony. Highly recommend grilling out down by the water at sunset one night. The property was amazing! The condo overlooks the pool so our girls could go swim and we could still keep an eye on them. AMAZING sunset views - go to the end of the boat dock. My brother snorkeled at the beach area and found several cool creatures. At no point was it crowded. Every single person we ran into was super friendly. The location was perfect, tons to do within short drive. All pictures shown in the ad is accurate. We will definitely stay again if we return to Key Largo.

Spacious, but aging.
Lots of room in this condo, but it’s almost a 70’s time capsule. As a rental unit that the owner may not use much anymore, I can see the reluctance to put much money into it to bring it up till the late 20th century (much less there 21rst century). But it could really use some freshening. The place was clean, but needed some basic repairs/maintenance. Lots of room, what with the three bedrooms and 2.5 baths, and the huge screened-in patio. The development that it’s in is well-kept and maintained. The pool and “beach” areas are nice. The docks looked to be well-kept. Easy access to everything on the Key, but I guess that could be said of just about anything on the Key. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and can’t complain much, since we basically used it as our home base for scuba activities, and it meet that need. We were just a little surprised at how dated the condo is.

Thanksgiving week 2020
In life, only very few times are things perfect! Flexibility is key. Dave( the owner) is a great communicator and helped anytime we had questions or concerns. Great to work with!! While some things in the condo are dated (Tv's are all flatscreens now) it wasn't anything that ruined our trip. We had six "adults" so we did buy some extra supplies. There was plenty of room to hang out, eat and play cards. The boat dock is beautiful and has all the amenities any fisherman needs! Since the weather wasn't the greatest we did a lot of fishing off the dock at night and on the Gulf side during the day . Large Tarpon and mangrove snapper were present and made fishing off the lighted dock at night loads of fun! The complex is very tight so boat launching and trailer storage is accomplished a building or so past Moon Bay at "The Carribian"...no issues there. All the outdoor property amenities are kept pristine!! I would say the biggest downfall of this location is the fact that the elevator does not come down to the parking level and there are no ramps to the elevator Lobby area. Therefore it is not handicap friendly and bringing anything upstairs including groceries and luggage has to be brought up a few sets of stairs before you can use the luggage carts. That being said, everything added up it was a great time.

Great view, lots of room, needs facelift
We previously stayed in a smaller condo at Moon Bay and liked it, so we had family joining us and decided on a larger different condo. The view was great overlooking the pool and bay. It had a large lanai that was nice for relaxing, but with a tropical storm traveling through, we couldn't spend much time there. In comparison to other condos we've rented through VRBO we were disappointed in the shape of the place and the supplies for daily living. Upon entering, the door latch posed a challenge. It was cumbersome unlocking and the latch was bent from others trying to enter. Once we got the hang of how to manage the lock it was easier. All the dining room chairs wobbled significantly and we were concerned if they'd break. Skillets, cooking and eating utensils were in poor shape. There were not many utensils so we were always washing spoons and forks. It is clear that the condo needs to be updated; wall paper is coming off, shower tile is stained, light switches and garbage disposal were malfunctioning, and the dryer element may be failing or the dryer is just worn out, light bulbs didn’t work, clock didn't work, and rugs (over the carpet all through the condo) were a constant fall-hazard. One night the rain was so heavy it overflowed from the lanai into our bedroom. The owner was surprised by this and for it I don't blame them--it was a tropical storm. However, for 4 days the whole place smelled musty until it dried. The main door also leaked and the hallway carpet was also soaked. The TV options were difficult to figure out--having directions for guests would have been helpful. They didn't have many washcloths so we bought two and we all felt the beds were 'fair' in comfort. Pillows were abundant yet all were flat and old. The owners were nice and responsive to communications but overall, I think it's overpriced for the quality. I regret to share only a fair review of this condo, it is the first suboptimal review I've had to share over 10 years using VRBO. It had a lovely pool and dock for fishing and a close grocery store. Hopefully with some upgrades, the next review will be better.

A week at Moon Bay
This condo was perfect for our needs. A group of family and friends at Key Largo for a week of fishing and lobstering. It was clean and comfortable even with the usual wear and tear of a rental. Be aware that the elevator to the 5th floor doesn't actually start at ground level but requires 12 or 13 very steep steps to reach it with no handicap ramp. This may be a problem for some. The boat slip and marina are very nice but only boats 30 ft or less will fit. There is a great grilling and picnic area and a nice little beach. The sunsets are wonderful.

Condo was as described and very spacious! Living room furniture has been updated since pictures were taken and posted. Location was great, and we thoroughly enjoyed our Key Largo vacation. Private snorkeling boat tour from John Pennekamp State Park was wonderful since we had never been to Key Largo and had some new snorkelers in our group. Day trip to Key West was nice - glad we stayed in Key Largo! Would definitely book again if we come back to the Keys! Thanks!!

This condo was much more then we expected. The view is stunning and the place was massive and kid friendly. The compound is huge and offers a little bit of everything. David Allen was very easy to work with and very nice. One thing I would beware of is the lady with short hair who lives in the complex and is in charge of the condo association. She was miserable and rude and made us feel extremely unwelcome as we tried our hardest to ignore her. Yes we were with a big group with lots of kids but we were on vacation I’ll be we understand someone who is rude to people the way she was. Other then that we will def be back at some point

Nice place and complex. Good value for money.
Lovely grounds and people. Pool, docks, sport games, and hammocks were really great. Lots of space to spread out - outside and inside. Screened patio was nice. Road noise was not noticeable during day, but needed to keep windows closed at night with AC on to avoid. Views were amazing for sunsets and stars at night. Kitchen outfitted well although kinda cramped for two cooking together. Carpeting should be replaced with tile as it is stained and covered wth tons of tripping-hazard throw rugs. Baths and furnishings are worn and dated, but functional. Family room has all you need with WiFi, Roku TV and comfy couches. Some issues with appliances and sinks, along with decor, keep me from giving 5 stars for meeting expectations. Lots of potential if refreshed. Would stay again!

We loved our week here! Key Largo offered a great middle-ground for us to visit the Everglades and Key West. We stayed the week of July 4, and were able to watch fireworks over the bay, from the comfort of the living room. Pennekamp State Park (where we took a glass-bottom boat tour, and many others were taking snorkeling trips) was only 2 miles away; and there was a Publix, Kmart and Starbucks at 3-5 miles south of the condo. The pool was often nearly empty during the day. The docks over the bay brought wonderful sunset views, and many people gathered on the dock to watch the sunset. The three bedrooms offered plenty of space for our family of six, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make some meals. Check-in directions were spot-on: we appreciated the entry and parking details, as we arrived after dark.

Enjoyed our stay. Condo was fine, no problems. Well maintained grounds, kids loved the pool and fishing off the dock (use live shrimp available at Yellow House bait shop about 5 min away and 2-0 hooks). They caught about 50 fish in 3-4 days fishing in the evenings. A manitee swam right under the fishing area the last night which was a great bonus. Would stay there again on our next trip!

Great location! Clean and spacious. Nice owner.
We were staying during second week of June. Two families with three kids age 15, 14 and 7. Nice and quiet place, no loud music coming from neighbors, no parties outside. We cooked our own meals, kitchen has pretty much everything you need. Found really nice fish and seafood market, called Key Largo fisheries, 1313 Ocean Bay Dr., Key Largo. We wanted to have a whole 10 lb groper. Talked to manager, he said not a problem, come tomorrow at 7:30 am. We did and it was delish! We did some fishing right from the boat docks, and saw sting rays and manatees right there, a 100 feet away from condo building! Pool did looks very nice, and kids went there a couple of times. Actually the whole condominium from boat docks to the gates looks neat and pretty well maintained. My compliments to the management! Park with pretty good snorkeling spot right next to the beach is five minutes away from condo. Also, at the same park you can buy a tour to a different location or a canoe tour. We did both. We saw sea turtles, moray eels, dolphins, bunch of other fish that I don't know names! Miami is pretty close, so one evening we went there. Drove through Little Havana. Made a stop at Miami Beach, Ocean Dr. Well, it's looks like fun, at least folks were enjoying sitting at the restaurants, eating and drinking on the sidewalk. To me it was way too hot for such entertainment. Key Largo is considerably close to Key West. So we went there too. Made a stop on the way on Bahia Honda Beach. In our company we have two radical opinions about Bahia : like it and dislike it. Key west is great at evening, but not much of a snorkeling or swimming spot. We did not even went to the beach there, but had a good time watching street shows and buying souvenirs. We got lucky with weather, but one unfortunate rainy day we went to alligators farm, nearest one. Honestly, I did not like it, and it is not because of rain. My son couldn't even watch that cruel "show" that they have over there. That was the only event that stays on the upsetting side of a scale. In overall, this rental was great!

Our group had a fabulous time at this condo. Definitely a vacation to remember. Seeing the beautiful view from the condo when we arrived was incredible. Plenty of space to relax and unwind. This property exceeded our expectations. The bedrooms were a nice size with lots of closet and dresser space. The bay view from the living room was amazing. Our family of 5 was very comfortable. The home is well stocked with towels, games, and everything you need in a kitchen for a family retreat. From our first sunset to our last breakfast, this was a relaxing and quiet location. The public areas are well maintained. We enjoyed laying out on the pool's sundeck, walking on the dock, playing shuffleboard, and grilling out. Sundowners is 1/2 mile away. We used the walking trail to get there. It was well lit in the evening as well. Grocery stores, shopping, gas, and Starbucks all within a mile or 2. Pennekamp, Dolphins Plus, and the Wild Bird Sanctuary are a short drive away. Very easy to navigate from the condo to all we wanted to see. The owners were easy to work with and provided perfect directions for our arrival. They answered all questions before and during our stay. We would definitely book with them again!

Space inside and outside to absorb a relaxing stay
Owner communication was terrific on details of entry and parking. If you have a boat you may use a slip at their dedicated dock (which would make this choice the ultimate location). Covered outside screened in porch with a bar. We had biz in the Ft Lauderdale area and wanted to escape further south which is less than 100 miles to Moonbay.

The perfect place in Key Largo
Our second stay in this nice place. Moonbay itself is the perfect place for a few relaxing days. The nice pool, the small private beach and the location are just perfect. And the apartment of Dave is extremely nice. Situated on the top of the builiding in a penthouse-style you have a marvelous view to the pool and the sea. We love the sunsets! Spacious rooms, very clean and well equipped. Always a recommendation,
