The property is very difficult to find with no English signage even with the KakaoMap app. Mat beds on the foor and no seating except the mat, cluttered courtyard area. Not comfortable if you are not used to sleeping and sitting on the floor. Excellent position in the historical village "

"Realized that during the hottest summer in July, avoided sleep in the attic because once you stood up near the under the roof, felt hot on the head without circulating AC upward. So we made nice warm conversation by offering special situation that we felt glad to have problem solved. Different living in Hanok village than hotels without bed. Especially for my age, hardly to stand up from sleeping on the floor with pads. We are living in back old day in Hanok Village to experience. "

"We enjoyed our stay here. The host let us check in early which was very kind. Our room although small was perfect for a one night stay. Everything was clean and they provide you with a lot of toiletries including toothbrushes. Breakfast is in a shared room and consists of toast, jams, cereals and coffee and tea. The hanok is located in a great spot to explore by foot all the local amenities."

"Dowon Guesthouse is a wonderful place to stay. The Hanok is pretty, and the location is very good. Walking distance to the Hanok village. The guesthouse owner is so kind and friendly. She helped us a lot and made our stay very pleasant. I really recommend staying at this Hanok."

"Location is just outside hanok village which is good as not so noisy. But the room walls are very thin, I could hear neighbor conversation throughout the night. Very difficult to control shower head water. Is either too hot or too cold. Stayed for 2 nights but no make up room service. 1st day, Had to wait at front of hanok as no one at counter to help check in & could not dial the number provided at the signboard. Had to ask for help from a coffee place beside the hanok to call the boss. "

"We shouldn't be expecting big rooms and big beds since it's a homestay experience. I would say this is the place everyone should stay when visiting Jeonju. It's a really good experience of a Hanok. Very beautiful mini garden. Simple breakfast with excellent coffee. Floor heating keeps the room warm during winter. Very good service provided by owner. She is able to communicate a little using English and Japanese but makes best effort to converse using translation apps. She saw that we...
