"Room was spotless and had the most magnificent view, was small but is what you would expect of an historic hotel. Was amazing to step back into the past. Staff were fantastic and obviously loved their job. "
"Excellent trip to the unspoilt Megalong Valley. The house has everything you need for a relaxing break away from the crowds. Lovely little touches like the yummy slice on arrival and late check out which is always much appreciated. Tips for things to do locally would be Lot 101 Megalong - some of the best food, wine and service we've ever had. Worth every penny. And the Grand Canyon Walk outside of Blackheath. Only 20 mins drive and the most spectacular walk and a nice workout! Topped off with some amazing horse riding. A fabulous weekend away "
"Nice location and sized house. Unfortunately we had bad foggy weather so the view was mostly obstructed for our stay :( Found the house to be reasonably clean. Thought the lounges could use updating, fairly stained and old looking. We had 9 in our group and the table only sits 6 people, so we had to sit in different areas, would have been nicer to have a larger table to sit at all together. We also had to use containers and pots to catch leaks from the lounge room ceiling area as it was heavy rain over the couple of days we stayed and the roof leaked in approx. 3-4 different spots. "
