This Hotel was clean and affordable. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless and well- equipped. The housekeeping staff did a fantastic job of keeping my room clean and tidy throughout my stay.

We had a lovely time during our stay. We booked for a wedding nearby and only spent 2 nights but we want to bring our family and come back for a week! The staff was so friendly and helpful no matter who you spoke to. There is plenty of fun things to do on the property and we can't wait to return and explore it all!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The grounds were very well maintained and the hotel was clean and well maintained. They were even doing some renovations of some rooms, but noise and inconveniences were minimized. The property oozes of a management team that takes pride in a well presented property. Our only two small downsides that kept us from five star ratings was minimal change up of breakfast options each day (noticeable since we stayed multiple nights) and an odor in our room that required we purchase an air freshener. The hotel itself smelled great but our room smelled of possibly fish being cooked on the stove top prior to our arrival. We will be back in Charlottesville and plan all future stays at Sonesta Suites. Thanks for a pleasant 10 night stay!

Wonderful room and the breakfast was great.

The room was cool like the overall vintage vibe it came with a turntable with some old vinyl Otis Redding and Sinatra were a few in my collection. Parking is non existent it was fortunate I didn’t have a vehicle. You don’t need one because you are walking distance from “The Corner” which is full of places go.
