December in Lisboa

We stayed 6 nights in December and really enjoyed the location of the appartment! Although the area is not quiet!! It is so close to the time out market and Cais do Sodé. Great mattresses, we slept really well and enjoyed the great shower! Unfortunately, in the bedroom, the curtains are almost coming down and there are none opposite the bathroom to cover the windows. We would have preferred a higher table (breakfirst) in addition to the exisiting one.

Perfect location for first time Lisbon stay!

I highly recommend this accommodation in prime Lisbon. This was my first time in Portugal, starting in Lisbon. The location is right in the heart of a ton of bars, restaurants, and a hop & skip away from the Time Out Market. The train station is super close as well, which proved helpful for our day trip to Sintra. It was an added bonus to be located in the same building as the Java rooftop as well. The apartment itself was as listed. The bed was super comfortable and there were plenty of linens & towels. The AC wasn’t really working but given the location of this unit, we actually survived just fine with the windows open and the fan on at night. The security & lift were added bonuses. Would highly recommend to other travelers!

Disappointed

First Upon entering the apartment was Supper hot. You have to insert the key into a slot to activate the electricity. This leaves the apartment without cooling while you’re out because they only give you one key. Second, we found a huge cockroach in the apartment. Third-The sink was very slow running Fourth- The TV did not work. When we called the office, they really don’t have a host, they said they would send a repairman. The repairman showed up at 11:15 pm, yes 11:15 pm. Needless to say, avoid this place!

Great location. Property is a bit tired. The drapes are falling down. Had to climb up to reattach. Bathroom sink doesn’t drain well and toilet runs.

Continual water discharge from toilet a bit noisy and wasteful. Courtyard restaurants just outside window noisy till 12 am every night. But accommodation served our needs well. A really happening area of Lisbon close to everything we needed.
