The Sunbird waterfront is a very nice modern property with very well appointed rooms. The restaurant is good – breakfast is very good. Staff are friendly and polite.
I was disappointed by the lack of a tourist activity program, and very ad hoc approach to this. Some of the prices I was quoted for boat, rides, or other accompanied activities were ridiculous. I think part of this that probably not many international guests stay there.
The other annoyance was the noise levels at night. On the Saturday night, there was a big party at the hotel and music went on until 3 am. Not acceptable.
