Customer Services arrived no personal touch and care for client .Morning breakfast was average. Try and install light in the bathroom and toilets were you can find the switch.

The room was dirty had hair everywhere and mild around the windows and the place stinks. The toilet door hardly shuts. The shower is straight up disgusting. Had people arguing at 3am keeping me up. Staff was alright though

Not what i expected
Maybe did not read/check info that well, but espresso machine does not work in the bar, shared showers with questionable lighting and hot water. Very noisy rusty old fridge in room.

Staff were lovely but the room was not particularly clean. The carpet was pulled up and sticky in some spots. People were arguing loudly within the hotel early in the morning and I was verbally harassed by someone in another room as I was leaving and felt unsafe walking back to the station. Breakfast was very nice though and the check out process was easy.

Don’t stay here.
Not a nice place to stay. Room was freezing and dirty. Beds uncomfortable. The pub downstairs is shadey and noisy. Don’t stay here.

The price was great , shame they didnt do food but they were happy with eating a take out in the bar !! Great pint of Stella served , basic but good value , quiet and a good bed !

It is not a hotel
I am assuming this is some kind of half-way house. Cleanliness is the basic requirement for any hotel. The sheets were stained, there was hair in the bed, the bathroom and toilets were disgusting. Nearly cried when I needed to use the loo! Did not bathe and left as soon as it was daylight. I paid £76.21 for this trauma!

Best forgotten
I am afraid we found the accommodation lacking in every manner. Infact once we saw the room we decided we'd rather lose our payment than stay in this place, so we left and went to another hotel.

It is unfair to review without ever entering the hotel. We have clearly stated our check in time and you arrived after midnight and unable to check in. It is nott the hotel's fault.

Saturday Night Disaster
Next door had a Dog Barked all night. No cable for in room. Thin walls or No to bad insulation resulting Couple making Noise moaning at 5am, could be Head clearly YET disgusting’. There was this Big green cough someone spat near the window. Talking bout windows, broken shade which is off no use!! 100% light coming in. The room explained in a word, ‘MESS’.

More of a flophouse than a hotel!
It’s not a hotel, it is rooms above a pub. There was no blind or curtains on the window. The window/skylight had been left open and so the bed was wet. The smoke detector had been removed despite there being a fridge and electrical items in the room. There was tissue paper shoved into gaps in the skirting boards ( not sure why they did that!). This wasn’t my first choice of place to stay, but due to Hotels.com letting me down on previous booking this was what was available at short notice

After reading other reviews i was concerned but there was no need i was only staying for one night and it was more than satisfactory for my needs. Room had a fridge a flat screen telly tea and coffee it was small but clean. This is not the hotel if you are in london for a holiday it is not a upmarket hotel but a east end pub with accomodation and as such was good value for money. if i am back next year i will stay there again

Horrendous
Horrendous!! Had to leave hotel as it was filthy, cramped and unsafe. Felt unable to ask for money back as we just needed to get out of there ASAP! Thankfully premier inn were able to accommodate us.. but I still lost the £54

Very friendly and helpful staffs. We got in late from international flights. The staffs let us stayed extra hours to sleep next day due to jet lag. Also let us store luggages for 8 hours before we can get into the next accommodation. Upon departure, we have wonderful assistance with warm smiles to load our luggages. It's a wonderful experience to stay at Forest Gate Hotel!

for price not worth this.
as I sent an email at 0745 today the B&B was the worst I've stayed in & to pay £39 was an absolute insult I in future wouldn't recommend this too my worst enemy.
