Checking in can take a bit if time if you're there right on 2 o'clock. They really don't have the staff to deal with many guests at the same time. Friendly, helpful staff that are there though.
The rooms are not air conditioned and there is very little airflow, so it can get quite hot and stuffy during the warmer months. Curtains are on most beds, not all. 10 bed dorms have curtains, 4 bed dorms do not.
I much prefer the 10 bed dorms for this reason alone.
The showers are good, although some are tiny and have no shower curtains, so your clothes may get wet if you're not careful.
Toilets and showers are kept very clean and are tended to regularly.
The included breakfast is basic coffee, tea, juice, toast and jam, cereal, ONE croissant per person and green apples. Fairly basic, but great that it's included.
For the price, you really get a good hostel in London. One bus will get you to Marble Arch/Oxford Street.
Not the most social hostel, but you can make friends with a little effort.
I would certainly stay again next time I'm in London.
