Lost River Swiss Cottage/10 acres/Private Dog Park/Streams
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, 118 reviews
"Had a wonderful long weekend with family at this wonderful mountain cottage. The house was incredibly clean, updated bathrooms, comfortable beds, and attention to small details like light fixtures and bedding. It was the perfect spot for morning coffee and evening happy hour. We did not even care when it rained a bit and...

Mountain retreat! MODERN HOUSE 2 hours from DC
7.6 out of 10, Good, 4 reviews
"AMAZING outdoor space, but no furniture to enjoy any of the decks. The house is a stunner in a great location, but the furniture is chintzy, cheap, and dirty. The bedroom in the “guesthouse” was dank and had a weird odor. Beds were comfortable, towels were miniature and lacking quality. The owners could make this a gem with some furnishing/linen investments, especially with all the good options around Lost River."
