“I loved this property! Very private, shady, even better than i thought it would be. The cabin was clean and tidy, nice size and even a dish washer! The large pavillion patio is a great space for relaxing. There is actually a small church there too! My dogs and I enjoyed the walking trail. My host Dennis was super nice, friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again, fall should be gorgeous!”

“We stayed here to be able to attend our daughter's graduation from JMU. The cabin was super clean and had everything you could want while being away from home. We looked forward to coming back to the cabin each evening. Very peaceful and felt like we were in a tree house with all the trees in full leaf bloom. Very pretty area. “We wanted a cabin stay to decompress after spring break in DC. Nice and relaxing. The fire pit was our favorite thing. Cabin is accurately described. Charming! Beds were comfy. Neighbors have a barking dog that woke us up one night-not sure what that was about. Master bathroom has been nicely updated. We didn’t do much in the area except Storybook trail (teens love the rock scrambling).”

“Wonderful views! Peaceful, nature surrounded, nicely appointed, clean, comfortable, and super cozy cabin. Easy communication with the property management company. Community road leading to the cabin is unpaved and steep at times so 4x4 highly recommended. Downtown Luray is nearby with a couple of restaurants and a brewery, grocery stores close by, and the entrance to the Shenandoah park is within 10-15 minutes drive! Perfect location.”

“It's out there but this made things quiet except for the cat that kept coming to the porch making us think someone was out there. Once we got our bearings and found our way out and down to the lodge we were fine. Very relaxing as we were in town for a relative going to the local hospital so it was helpful to retreat to the woods to take a breath. Thanks for letting us use your cute house!”

We loved the front porch swing and my 12 year old son spent time on the swing off the front porch. We put on water shoes and explored the creek out back too!
