"I was loved this place. It looked amazing and had great reviews. But, when I arrived it was a big excellent surprise even more special. I literally wanted to move in & live there. And the staff and owners are super cool, incredibly kind, fun, and helpful. I rarely return to exact same place. And I 100% will return here and want to make it a home base to stay an extended time period. Also, excellent food breakfast, lunch and dinner on property. Thank You. "

"Fantastic view from this place!
Hot water!
Free water during your stay.
Staff are really nice and helpful!
They have raincoats and umbrella
The terrace is very nice.
There're MANY warungs nearby this place (also many which aren't at Google maps). So just pick a choice 😉 No need to think you'll have to walk for a long time to have something to eat.
In the evenings it gets cold. So bring warm clothes. Also for the night's.
And good idea to bring a headlamp when you are going out for dinner,...

"The inn is located around wonderful rice fields and with views to mount Rinjani. The rooms are basic, and the owner and stuff gives you a friendly service with tips around the area and offering a wide range of plates at the restaurant, which is located over their fish ponds. "

"Just went one day before hiking Rinjani & the road infront was pretty noisy to try and get a nap - but overall the food at the hotel restaurant was great and a nice little place!"

"Hébergement bon marché, géré par du personnel très jeune, le ménage est "survolé". On vous conseille vivement les chambres du 1er étage. Équipements sommaires (douches équipées que d'un phare de douche par exemple) .
Les chambres dites "standard" sont à éviter, elles sentent le renfermé car pas de circulation d'air.
On pourrais comparer ces chambres à des pseudos caves. La piscine est correct mais petite. 4 transats de dispo. Ce n'est clairement pas l'endroit pour passer une après midi relax à...

"Decent place to stay, bed is comfortable and the rooms are small. Hot shower and western toilet in the room. The price includes breakfast which was very simple but good.
It’s about 10 minutes drive from central Sembalun so keep that in mind as there are not many places to eat nearby.
Overall if you’re looking for a place to stay and rest up for a cheap price I could recommend."

"Wow. This place was fantastic. We stayed unfortunately for one night only, but we really enjoyed the tranquility and the great energy surrounding Les Rizieres. The terrace immersed in the rice fields is simply spectacular. The room was cozy and provided with all amenities. The breakfast was really good - especially the papaya ginger jam made by the owner which I will never forget. The hotel features two very sweet and friendly dogs and one cute little cat too. The staff helped us also with transport to Bangsal harbor to catch the boat to Gili for a very fair price. Next time we'll definitely stay more. Totally recommended! "
The best area to stay in Loyok is the central part of the village, particularly around Jalan Raya Loyok, for its convenience and access to local life.
This area is the heart of Loyok, characterized by its traditional craft shops, especially those specializing in rattan and bamboo weaving. You'll find a concentration of local eateries and small markets here, providing opportunities to experience the local culture directly. The general layout is linear, following the main road that connects the various craft workshops and homes.
Families often find this central area appealing. The opportunity to observe local artisans at work and even participate in craft workshops can be an engaging and educational experience for children and adults alike. It offers a glimpse into a traditional way of life that is both interesting and accessible.
For travelers seeking a quiet retreat with a focus on connection to local culture, the guesthouses and homestays scattered just off Jalan Raya Loyok offer a suitable option.
When is the best time to go to Loyok?
The best time to visit Loyok is during the dry season, which runs from April to October, offering pleasant weather for exploring.
During these months, you'll experience less rainfall and comfortably warm temperatures, typically ranging from 75°F to 85°F (24°C to 29°C). This makes it ideal for outdoor activities like visiting traditional craft villages, hiking in the surrounding hills, and enjoying the local markets. The drier conditions also ensure easier travel on local roads, which can be less accessible during the wet season.
For travelers who prefer a quieter experience and want to avoid peak crowds, consider visiting in April, May, September, or October.
