“My family of 5 picked this luxury apartment for a recent trip to DAR. Check in was 4pm but we arrived at 4:45pm, but the apartment was still being cleaned. We dropped our luggages and left to allow the cleaning to be completed. We returned at 10:30pm only to find numerous live creeping bugs and a coakroach in one of the bedrooms and the hallway. My children freakout. We all spent the night in one bedroom which was bug free. The situation was remedied the next day after we complained to the host……

“This is a rustic property (and I mean that in a good way). If you want the authentic stone town experience, this is it. However, the WiFi isn’t the best. It’s due to the home being on the second floor and the literal stones of stone town prevent the network from connecting properly. If you’rea digital nomad like me, keep this in mind. But the master bedroom with the private bathroom is very nice and the location puts you close to everything you will want to see and experience in stone town. And……

“This host does not respond to bookings or messages. This might be a scam listing. Do not, under any circumstances, book with this property unless you want to lose your money. It took over a week and several attempts on the phone with VRBO just to get my refund after booking this place for a week but the host never replied to messages.”
