"We use Scandic Hell at the start and end of our yearly trip to Norway. It is so convenient to the airport, but more than that, it's a great place to stay. The people who work there are wonderful, experienced, and always helpful. The food is excellent. I also like the small shopping center across the street - very handy. And let's be honest, it's always fun to tell your friends you are in Hell!"

"Das Ferienhaus ist super ausgestattet und auch die Lage ist perfekt. All unsere Fragen an den Vermieter wurden sofort beantwortet. Er hat uns auch Tipps für Ausflüge gegeben. Der Motor vom Boot war leider bei Ankunft defekt, aber auch das hat der Vermieter sofort geregelt. Vor dem Küchenfenster steht ein Vogelhaus, welches sehr gut besucht war, von vielen verschiedenen Vogelarten und auch Eichhörnchen. Das Treiben haben wir genossen.Es gibt nur ein was, was wir bemängeln würden. Es gibt im Haus leider weder in den Schlafzimmern noch in der Küche die Möglichkeit, eigene Lebensmittel bzw. in den Schlafzimmern die eigenen Sachen im Schrank zu verstauen, da alle Schieber belegt waren. Ein Stern Abzug bei der Sauberkeit haben wir gegeben, da der Ofen bei Ankunft nicht gereinigt war (Aschekasten und Brennraum voller Asche). Der Rest des Haues war sehr sauber."

"Thon Hotel Selbusjøen is a rare , unique hotel, based a few meters away from the Selbu lake. The hotel surrounding are stunning hills , lake Selbu , filled with history , and its local people. The Thon Hotel Selbu style brings you back in 1890-1970 th. Very warm atmosphere , with a well decorated lounges , beautiful spacious dining area ,a bar. The staff , Ezra Tova, Diana,Dominica ,Monia welcomed me very warmly ,organised my Birthday Greeting , with Happy Birthday song , delicious cake, ,,variety of cheeses made by the local producers. The Selbu Blue cheese and the Goat cheese was very very delicious . The breakfast buffet was outstanding ! 5* level. I am sincerely greateful to the Chef who made all those delicious , foods: a variety of marinated vegetables, beetroots, cuccumbers, anions, leaks. I am a fish lover ;), so to get marinated hearings , salmon for breakfast , it was a heavenly breakfast for me . The variety of foods from the local producers, goat and blue cheese , pate, variety of cooked hams , fresh breads, selection of yogurts and jams. Oh ;), I MUST mention the hot food option : The potatoes with anions , and with a big chunks of baked pork belly . That was a super delicious option , yummy 😋 ❤️ I was staying for two nights . My room was clean , stylish , with big windows , with the lake view. I loved every minute spend at this hotel, it’s suitable for the solo travellers, families and for the big groups. It is located away from the busy city."
