The staff was great all around. We rented two rooms one was great but the other had a moldy smell. That was our only complaint.

We really enjoyed our stay. Great location, quiet, beautiful colonial building. The breakfast buffet was excellent. To top every off, every one of the staff were so friendly and helpful. This hotel would definitely be our first choice if we return to Merida

This is a lovely hotel, centrally located. Staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. Many spoke good English. Lots of restaurants in area if you do not wish to use the hotels restaurants. Highly recommend.

I love this hotel have been staying here every time I go to Merida the hotel is excellent very clean and beautiful. Rooms are very roomy, clean and comfortable. The staff is amazing very friendly, polite and helpful. The buffet restaurant has great food and a man playing the piano.... its so nice. . All i can say is this hotel is the best and will keep staying here!!!

Place needs a total makeover beds are reserved a king size but got 2 twins very limited on the bar choices very disappointed.

I was VERY surprised the hotel cost as much as it did. When we walked in it was decent-- however once we started going towards our room the smell was horrific. It was disgusting. Unfortunately there was no where else to stay so we had no choice. - NEVER AGAIN
