“The cabin is very clean, with a nice porch on the lake. Coffee in the morning on the lake was quite nice. There is an outdoor shower which is private and the hot water comes on quickly. The water inside is not potable, and there are obvious signs not to drink it. The hosts provide drinking water. They also provide lots of snacks/coffee/toothbrushes and other amenities you may need. Electric outlets are somewhat sparse but manageable.”

It is a short drive to downtown Cooperstown and we enjoyed the location spending late afternoons sitting on the deck overlooking the lake. We highly recommend this property!”

“The Boathouse is located down 67 stairs - which we read about in the description - still a workout, especially when loading in or out. The property was perfect for our family of four. There were lots of bugs on the windows, so we decided to keep them closed at all times. The window AC unit cooled the house enough and fans are provided. The house could use a refresh of furniture and towels. If I went again, I would bring my own towels. The beach towels provided were great. The water is stunning....
