Welcome to Reel Relaxed, a spacious 4-bedroom, 3-bath lakefront retreat tucked into a peaceful private cove on Smith Mountain Lake. Designed for easygoing days on the water and cozy nights inside, this 2,700 sq. ft. home combines comfort, recreation, and classic lake-life charm. Pet-friendly for up to two dogs (50 lbs each).
Step outside and enjoy direct waterfront access, a private pier perfect for swimming, fishing, or sunning, and two provided kayaks for exploring the quiet cove. The large furnished deck—with a gas grill and dining area—makes lakeside BBQs effortless. The home sits within the sought-after High Point community, offering tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts for added outdoor fun.

Inside, tall ceilings and natural light set a warm, welcoming tone. Relax in the living area with two smart TVs (Comcast & Roku), break into a board game, or cook together in the fully equipped kitchen. The lower-level game room is built for downtime—complete with a pool table, wet bar, gas fireplace, and plenty of space to unwind.
Enjoy nearby access to Smith Mountain Lake State Park, wineries, public golf courses, marinas, restaurants, and shopping—everything you need for a memorable stay.

Pros: Cute house and fantastic location on the lake. Master bed soft and comfortable with great master bathroom with big tub and shower and 2 sinks. Basement bedrooms okay. Kitchen was well stocked with cups/plates/pans. Outside decks were perfect with nice view of the lake and trees. Very quiet neighborhood and cove. Close to marina and grocery and restaurants. Was easily able to rent a boat at Parrot Cove and dock at house. House was very comfortable for family of four, and we enjoyed the pool table and dock. Towels and sheets very clean and comfortable. Enough parking for 3 cars. It was really good stay and I highly recommend the house. There are a lot of stairs both down to the house and then down to the dock but we didn’t mind as if it gave us a little exercise during a very relaxing week at Smith Mountain Lake. Suggestions to host for improvement: The carpet could likely use replacement soon (but it didn’t smell like pets). Note, I have aversion to shaggy carpet over lower pile carpet or hard wood, so others might be good with carpet throughout house. Blender was cracked so couldn’t use it. Sliding glass doors don’t have screens (weather was nice so would have been nice to open those to air out house and hear outside woods noise). Lighting in hall bathroom upstairs kept flickering and changing colors (may have been bulb). Basement a little musty but to be expected at the lake.
