“The room was very basic, but met all my needs---it was small, but clean and quiet--I had a mini refrigerator and Keurig, so I had everything I needed. The bed was comfy and my (limited) interactions with the staff were kind and considerate. I will definitely be staying there again. ”

“It was honestly a really great stay. The weekend was beautiful and we had a mountain facing room which made it even better. So much is within walking distance, it’s a very walkable city. The staff was friendly and patient and we had no problems. The elevator was a bit odd, but outside of that it was a wonderful place. We would absolutely stay here again.”

“My family and I had a wonderful time staying at this property over the kids' spring break. The house is spacious, and we enjoyed the lower floor rec room. The fireplace and hot tub were also a huge plus. The beds were comfortable. Don't expect the house to be perfectly clean. It was good enough where it needed to be (linens, tubs, toilets). We would definitely visit again.”

I was under the impression that this was a stand-along guest house on the property of the main house. It's actually attached to the main house, which was perfectly fine. Very private, nestled in the woods of a small, quiet neighborhood less than a mile from downtown Highlands. “We really enjoyed our time in this house. We stayed in the fully furnished basement part of the house, but it did not feel like you were staying in the basement. Our dog absolutely loved looking out the big windows. The bed was super comfy! The bathroom had a huge shower. The kitchen was perfect for what we needed.”
