We chose this hotel as on paper it had everything we as a family wanted. Bar, ground floor swimming pool, restaurant and central location. Our room was on the 8th floor and was enormous, we had a suite and had plentiful of room so can’t fault the room apart from inadequate sound proofing. We were woken early on a number of days by the daily aerobic exercise class on the beach outside which had a loud speaker cranked up to rock concert levels.
This was annoying but not a deal breaker for us. The reason we didn’t rate the hotel was more to do with customer service. The hotel advertised that it had a bar which it does I think on the 12th floor. I took my family there one night at around 8pm for drinks and were made to feel unwelcome by the staff. It became apparent that the bar was being run by a Korean firm ( not the hotel) and unless you were Korean you were not welcome. They grudgingly served us one drink and we quickly left.
The pool bar was also a joke as staff seemed to be abit annoyed that we would dare ask for drinks.
I would rate this hotel higher but only once there has been some staff training in customer service. Until then we would not recommend or return to this hotel if we visit Da Nang again.
