The property was exactly what I needed for a last-minute overnight trip with my sister. The room was nicer than expected, It was still pretty outdated, but it was your basic motel and those always have the most character for me. Balcony facing the boardwalk and the ocean, so you get both views in one. Beds were pretty comfy, no bed bugs but did see a dead waterbug which is pretty common for any residents near the water. There was a coffee pot in the room, but they do not offer coffee or breakfast. There is a Starbucks couple blocks down so it was a nice morning walk tho we had to dodge the rain. Overall good experience. I hate that everyone here is so proud to be a Trumper tho.. that and the coffee incident is really my only issue. Quite a few people are complaining about a mildew smell, but as soon as we walked into the room, it was actually an overbearing smell of cleaning chemicals, but after that faded, there was no mildew smell and the faucet in the tub constantly was dripping too. The showers were great though. 7/10.. would probably stay here again if I’m tryna ball on a budget.

Wonderful location right on the boardwalk with an ocean view from the balcony side. Front desk receptionist was very friendly and so was the housekeeping staff. Tons of restaurants and bars within a few block’s including Wicked Tuna and 2nd Ave Pier. BUT…the room could have used a good scrub and some handyman work. If you don’t care about luxury then it’s a great, inexpensive option.

The service here is absolutely amazing! A complete diamond in the rough that should not be overlooked! The rooms are very cozy, and clean, with a great view. The staff were funny, friendly, and made me and my new husband feel welcomed. When we called to ask a question, the answered without hesitation, and did not make us feel like an imposition. Should we ever return to Myrtle Beach, this will be our go-to spot!

The staff was great. Always helpful. Third floor has a wonderful view. Ocean Beach! We could leave the doors open and have a cross breeze from the balcony. Will definitely be back again!

This motel was the absolute worst I have ever seen. The door had half inch gaps all around and wouldn't shut tightly. The beds were sagging. The bedspreads looked like they had not been washed in weeks. The floor hadn't been cleaned. The walls and ceilings were dirty and badly needed paint, and there were several areas where large -- like 6" -- holes had been patched but the spackling was left rough and not even smoothed over much less painted. The sliding door to the balcony had been forced open at some time which broke off a section of the wall door framing, and instead of fixing that they haphazardly screwed on a different makeshift lock so the door could be sort of locked. That's what we saw in the first 45 seconds before we turned around and ran away. We wouldn't dare touch anything! This looked like something from the ghetto, not a motel in a nice resort area like Myrtle Beach!

Location and Price is excellent. 2 issues caused me to change hotels 15 minutes after checking in. White Bed Spreads were seriously stained. Also, several roaches outside my door by the outside pool and a couple in my room. You could even see gaps under the door, making it easy for critters to enter the room. I stayed at this motel several years ago and loved it. Was not happy with the care of the property.

Paid extra for ocean front view with sliding door to the balcony. Not only did it not open it didn't close all the way letting in bugs, etc. Only one lamp to light the whole room. It had more lamps but no receptacles. Floor was sandy with dead bugs swept up against the wall. Bathroom receptacle ot only was not a GFI it had no wall plate. Had to walk to hotel next door for check in/out or for anything you needed. At night not enough parking spots so you hadto park kitty corner across thestreet in an unlit, unmarked parking "yard". Should i go on????

I loved being next to beach. Outside the door was not very pleasant. The room needed to be treated for roaches. The staff did not seem to care. There was no handicap parking and definitely not enough parking. our room was across from the cleaning supply closet. It could have been cleaner outside our door.

This quaint little offering delights with its rustic (Rusted) front door. Upon entry one is greeted by fragrant undertones of delightful mustiness and odor. Passing the entrance the flimsy sheets give way to evidence of past occupants in the form of of a variety of pubic and other hair of past multi cultural guests as proof of the broad appeal of this property. Towel racks leave ones imagination running as to where to hang a towel as none of the racks had a bar. The commode delighted us. The top was a different shape to the tank leaving us guessing, did someone pee on the seat or is the tank spritzing water through the gaps? All together this little room was a wonderful throwback to the 1960's and has no doubt been ignored ever since then by the owners.

The location was about the only good thing about this Hotel. Nice view of the beach from the third floor, the rooms need updating ASAP. The condition was not great, we would see roaches inside of the room every now and then.

The location with the oceanview was the best. The staff were excellent. The parking, while available, was not convenient for many of the visitors. The rooms were clean and adequate for a short stay. The kingsized bed was not comfortable for my first night, but the second bed was just fine for the second night. Overall, it was a good stay and I will be happy to stay there again.

It is a old motor inn. The property around it was boarded up. But the beach and newly redone area between the beach and motor inn were beautiful. In the room 109, there was a gap around the door you could see daylight, the bottom of the bathroom door was rotted out, the toilet had the wrong tank lid (that didn't cover the top) on it. The bathroom counter top was painted and the paint was coming off. The tub shower was newer. The bed sheets had stains. The furniture was well worn, the headboard had fallen down on one side. The latch on the sliding door to the balcony could be defeated very easily. We booked on short notice less than 24 hours and made the best of it.

It’s in a great location and generally what I expect from a budget motel in most regards. But the smell in the room was awful. It’s kind of a musty orange cleaner smell. But it’s very strong and so nauseating it’s difficult to even be in the room.

We wanted ocean view and that’s what we got the staff was friendly and so were the guests.My daughter and I really enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor pool as well as the hot tub.My husband enjoyed the ocean and over all we had a blast will for sure stay again.

This motel is positioned with beach front access and close to the 2nd St Pier. It's easily walkable to the boardwalk (10 mins) Parking onsite is limited, but overflow lots are nearby. **This is not a kid friendly resort with all the bells and whistles, but the staff are amazing! They were very accommodating to our traveling last minute with extended stay for multiple rooms. The rooms were clean and comfortable. If you are looking for a place to stay where the staff actually call you back this is the place! Quick, clean, safe, and easy, but the service is what earns the most points!

Don't stay here you get what I pay for!!!
The experience was the sleep was okay but other than that everything else was horrible. Blinds torn water damage to the ceiling or like the ceiling was in the cave in there was black mold everywhere in the bathroom literally they need to shut it down remodel start again. The customer service was horrible and I experienced that from watching another customer go through an experience if you prepaid for a trip.
