“Overall a great place to stay in Allentown. The place is well appointed and the beds were comfortable. We ended up parking on the street as parking behind the building was a bit confusing to understand precisely where to park. You do have to pay to park on the street every day except Sunday. The owner of Gems and Joe was very kind and informative regarding the area. This is so much nicer than a hotel and so much more comfortable.”

“Very great place, me and my friends really enjoyed the place. I highly suggest getting slippers/indoor only shoes as the floors can be dirty. The owner may send many messages of the same thing/the rules but it wasn’t enough to ruin my stay, I think I got about 2-3 the entire duration of my 5 day trip so not bad. “The house was fine. Description would have better been described as a split level with three sets of stairs. The step into the front door is very high with no hand railing on the outside to help with getting up or down. When you are a little older with short legs it is very challenging. It would be better if the house numbers were better displayed as we passed by on several occasions when returning at night. Kitchen was nice with all that you need.
