NICE family holiday

Really enjoyed our stay in Nice. Location is fantastic, everything is on your doorstep. The owner sent us lots of information on things to do etc. and was incredibly helpful.

Great stay in Nice!

Our stay in Nice was amazing! The location was perfect—walking distance to everything we wanted to see. The apartment was clean and comfortable. Frank, the owner, was incredibly helpful with his recommendations and made our visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Amazing location in the heart of Old Nice, everything we needed for our stay was less than a 10 minute walk. Great functional apartment, but could benefit from some TLC, that said I would stay again.

This is a very cute base for a short stay in Nice, probably slightly too small for 6 adults but when you're not spending too much time 'at home' that doesn't really matter. We enjoyed its authenticity and charm and fresh coffee...

Great place in Nice!

Frank’s accommodation was nothing less than perfect! My friends and I enjoyed every part of the apartment, especially the coffee machine. The apartment is located very close to the main area with tons of restaurants and bars around. Thank you Frank for hosting us! If I ever find myself in Nice again I will be running to book this accommodation!

Best VRBO ever

My friends and I stayed at Frank’s place for a few days and had the best time! It is the cutest and most authentic stay with a great location right in the heart of Old Town. Frank is super responsive and does a really great job making the entire process run very seamlessly. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely staying

A nice apartment in the center of the old part of Nizza. Functional apartment for 5 people, absolute availability from the owner for all the requests we have asked him. Apartment maybe not ideal for families with small kids due to the many steps to reach the third floor.

Frank is an excellent host, very quick to respond to inquiries or issues, very easy to communicate with. The property is located in an excellent area, close to restaurants, night market, and beaches. The area is very noisy though, so if it's hot and you leave the window open, you will hear lots of noise. There is no A/C, the property is older and you need to walk up stairs to get to the unit. If you want to be where the action is, this is the place to be.

For an authentic, welcoming French experience in the delightful city of Nice, come to stay @ Franks! The appartement is beautiful, very large for a city stay and in the most ideal location to explore/walk everwhere. It is very well equipped, and Frank is as interesting, genuine and charming as the accommodation itself...the love affair with France was confirmed to be never ending! Couldn't be more central! A home from home :)

Great location, lovely ambience and a real insight into the local way of life in the old town. Any issues and Frank and his team were on hand to resolve at pace. Make sure you don't skip leg day at the gym, as the stairs to the appartment are unforgiving. The compromise is the amazing original details in a 300 year old property. It started to feel like a real home from home :) Prepare yourself for the street noise in the late afternoon evening and night as revellers head out to eat and drink. We had to close the windows at night, but numerous fans are provided to cool the appartment in the absence of AC. The TV channels are local language only and reception was sporadic. Be prepared to buy essentials, we only had 2 toilet rolls for 4 people for 4 nights and the coffee beans ran out day one and we had to buy tea and sugar. It would have been nice to have these core cupboard items on arrival. So had to head straight out to top up. The water is drinkable but we bought bottled water anyway. All supplies are available at a local Epicentre or Monoprix. No more than a 10 min round trip. Minor gripes. 9/10 from us. Would be happy to stay again.

Wonderful spot and host

First of all, the host was very patient and accomodating. I took ages to fill in the necessary forms for example and Frank was always kind and patient with me. The flat is great, right in the middle of Old Town, overlooking a lively street with restaurants and street musicians and two minutes from the beach. I was with one other person which was perfect. I do think that with more people it would soon get a bit tight but honestly, it's still a great spot to explore Nice and the rest of the Riviera from so I wouldn't think too much about it. There's a lovely kitchen with dish washer (I would have liked a few more nice bowls but that's my biggest complaint so you understand that it's a very servicable kitchen haha). There's one separate bedroom and one loftbed and both beds are very comfortable. There's two bathrooms, one with a good bath tub. There wasn't enough toilet paper but I just bought some new and it was really no problem at all. There was a good tv but we didn't really use it. Also a cabinet full of board games! That was a great surprise. I cannot express enough how much of a good time we had and how much this flat contributed to that. Thanks for a great time, I would 100% stay again!

Lovely, charming, & comfortable

We loved our stay in this apartment. It reflected the mood and feel of Nice in the lovely colors, design, and location in Old Town Nice. Lots of activity and views out the windows and walking distance from anything one would want to explore while in Nice. Communication with owner was excellent. We would love to return someday.
