"Loved the property but after we left the host tried to scam us by saying we left the place without tidying up. He wanted 1000NOK/£70. I told him we videoed the entire place showing it was spotless before we left, and he quickly told us to not worry about the 1000NOK. The place was also advertised as a 3 bedroom house yet he failed to tell us that one of the bedrooms is his private bedroom and is not to be used! I would return to Finnsnes, but never to this place."

The cabin has everything you need: picture window for northern lights and a moccamaster coffee machine for when you get back from a hike (pick up a bag of ground beans from kaffebønna in Tromso on your way!). "A Magical Christmas Cabin in Malangen We had the most incredible Christmas at this cabin in Malangen—it felt like we were living inside a Christmas card! The house was absolutely perfect, with every detail thoughtfully provided. From the cozy fireplace to the luxurious sauna and jacuzzi, everything exceeded our expectations. We especially loved using the snowshoes, enjoying the firepit under the stars, and relaxing in the peaceful surroundings. The location is ideal: a supermarket is just a stone’s throw away, and a resort with an activity center—offering experiences like dog sledding—is within walking distance. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the warmth and personal care from the hosts, Arvid and Victoria. Their hospitality went above and beyond, making the experience even better than advertised. If you’re dreaming of a perfect winter escape, this cabin is the place to be. We couldn’t recommend it more!"
